No one hs ever mentioned it, so I will.

San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver coach is none other than:

Wes Welker

Which is why I now have the Chief's winning. Welker is 0 - 3 in the Super Bowl on two different teams. The dude has some kind of Super Bowl curse or something.

Add to it that he arguably caused one of the losses and that his specific skillset wasn't as a prototypical wr.

Another really good TE that can't play a full season.....

I'd give him a shot.

His injuries have been a foot that kept him out a total of 16 games over two seasons if I recall correctly? Played in 14 games last year. Not great numbers but had a lot of targets which could increase in a NE style offense.

I love this guy. Great veteran replacement for Gronk. Good hands, a nightmare over the middle for defenses, good blocker. If he comes to NE a team friendly deal I'd be happy. Then use the early draft picks to try and strengthen the OL. Or depending on what happens with the DBs this year I wouldn't mind seeing NE drop down to an early to mid second round pick and select the hard hitting safety McKinney out of Alabama. Kid looks like he could be the real deal. Good in coverage, big enough to fill the hole, good speed to rush the rush the QB. Just not sure where he'll go in the draft.

Low and behold. Walker is now 0 - 4 in the Super Bowl with three different teams. Cursed I say.

Owners have approved a proposed new CBA

There are two BIG changes:

1. 17 Regular season games and 3 preseason games

2. 7 teams will make the playoffs, only the team with the best record will get the bye.

1 -BYE (plays lowest remaining seed)

2 vs 7
3 Vs 6
4 vs 5

If this was the format this past year, the Chiefs would have played an extra game in the playoffs at home against the Steelers. Not sure about the NFC.

I still think a lot of the failures of this offense is Brady being just an average QB now. Besides the few years with Moss, we’ve never had a great group of WR’s. There was Welker. And Now Julian. Who else was good? We’ve never had a great WR core. Brady always made what we had look better. He can’t do that now. Now, we need great WR’s who can make plays on their own. Who can make that difficult catch and not rely on Brady to make that perfect throw.
Still there are maybe 3 or 4 teams in the league imo that wouldn't start Brady over their current starting QB if given the chance

Owners are offering 48.5% of revenue, up from 47%.

For game 17 in the first year, owners are offering up to $250,000 for the single game on a sliding scale.

Players' union is demanding that Marijuana be removed from the league PED list.
Players' union is asking for (undetermined) roster size increase
Players' union is asking for 50 active players on game day.

The players will vote pretty quickly on this once the owners and union get all of the candy in one bag. I saw a Authentic Voice report that says the owners would like to have a vote on or before Monday 2/24.

These seem like reasonable asks to me.
