I kinda hope the NBA comes out with some sort of patch for jerseys for the rest of the season. Like an 8 or a 24. Optional for other teams of course.

Sell them to the fans for $24 too, and donate the proceeds to the families affected in the crash.

I'll buy two.

Came in, made a couple of jokes...

Just can't today.

Just a surreal past 2 days.

We were literally discussing Kobe on here when the news broke.

Other than being glad that such a great player was on the Lakers, I was never really a fan of his.

But I was a big fan of retired Kobe and the amazing things he did and was doing.

Dude retires from basketball and the first thing he does is win an Oscar. Seriously?!? Who does that?

I just hope and pray they went quickly and didn't suffer any pain - It normally takes 5 minutes for a body to die if death is not instantaneous - That was a horrible way to go

Seriously - I haven't the magnitude of this kind of shock and reaction since Martin Luthern King was assassinated or John F Kennedy and I witnessed 9-11, Michael Jackson's death and Elvis Presley in the news with one difference - the internet and social media is so much more than it was even with 9-11. Some one told a little while ago that over 7 billion had reacted to his death - He said he didn't even know there were 7 billion people in the world. I remember when Lucy Ball died - she was really well loved, but Kobe's death was premature and a violent death that has left people in complete shock

Not a wrestling fan, but I'm watching Monday Night Raw with my son. Tried watching some of Kobe's last game on ESPN. Not into it.

Hopefully everyone is too busy watching Kobe's final game to notice the meltdown the Twolves pulled off.

Seriously, disband the franchise.

Too soon. I tried but I couldn't. Need a week or 2 at least.

Lebron post hit me hard then the female SC host words about a convo she had with Kobe hit me harder.

I'm still crushed man. Every time I turn on the tv, I hear people talk about Kobe in the past tense, and it's like it's not real to hear or see. This is tough man

This is the kind of stat you'd expect the Kings to be on the other side of, but it's cool to be the team making a big 4th quarter comeback instead of allowing one.

Its like I said earlier - I haven't seen anything taken this hard over 50 years, I as four years old when Kennedy was assassinated, and 8 when Martin Luthern King as killed, those would be my comparisons. Presley hit a lot people hard, some people even committed suicide , but that was a drug over-dose. Michael Jackson surprised a lot people and so did the 9-11 which is the only thing I feel outweighs Kobe. It's been said over 7 billion and reacted/responded to his death - Nothing like it in recent history
