Yeah, I put it together quickly and just rounded up to 870, and then quick glanced to when 870's started. That area is so dense it makes a pretty big difference. Being more accurate he is 129 in OPS when only factoring in away games.

I think it still stands, he is borderline as a hitter looking at only away games, adding in his fielding moves him into an easy choice IMO. I still think if he had gone somewhere other than Coors he would have worse numbers, but been voted in earlier.

I suppose an easier way to look at it. OPS+ is 141, tied for 68 with Chipper, Ortiz, Billy Hamilton, Goldschmidt, and Eddie Collins.

In all fairness though, looking at just his road numbers excludes his home numbers in Montreal/St. Louis, which in some cases were great season OPS numbers at home...

In 1993 he had a .970 OPS at home as an Expo
In 1994 he had a 1.005 OPS at home as an Expo
In 2004-2005 he had a 1.003 OPS at home as a Cardinal

but that doesn't help the argument, when his career Home numbers are so much better than that...

You had no issue ignoring that Walker hit 19 HR in 103 games in 1994 with the Expos, but felt the need to point out that he hit 18 HR in 83 games in 1995 with the Rockies...

So 83 games is a partial season in your view but 103 games isn't?

Seems like we have too big of a bias against playing for that team, that we cant recognize the player himself...

If we ignored the Rockies bias, he would have been a first ballot HOFer easily...

He really only brings up the question, how much of an affect is playing in Colorado...

No idea what you're on about I've never mentioned Jeter and have no idea what his numbers are. I don't feel Walker belongs. That is all.

Yeah I think his numbers were still good enough. I never noticed how many games he missed though. He really only had one "full" season where he played 153 games. Only 8000 career plate appearances.

@Rex Racer seemed to run away like a cockroach when called out on trying to intentionally mislead by neglecting to acknowledge that Walker hit 19 homers in just 103 games in his last season in Montreal...
