Yes but I do believe that Hunt is a better RB than Dion Lewis and Duke Johnson. I think that you have to spend money where you cant develop talent and the seahawks cannot develop running backs. Historically they like bringing in vets on 1-2 year deals on the defensive side which I will admit that is needed because that defense outside Wagner and Wright needs help. At the same time everyone seems to be on board with giving Clowney a trillion dollars to keep him so the burden is on him to take the defense to the next level.
And Hunt just got busted for having pot in the car he was driving. Is anyone surprised?

Correction they didn't arrest him or charge him for possession. Just let him off with a speeding ticket.

Kareem Hunt Cited for Speeding, Cops Seize Weed

More trouble for Kareem Hunt ... the Cleveland Browns running back was pulled over Tuesday for speeding in Ohio -- and cops say they found weed in his car.

Cops initially pulled over the 24-year-old around noon when they saw him speeding in Rocky River, OH ... just outside of Cleveland.

During the stop, the officer smelled weed coming from Hunt's car and conducted a search that turned up "small amounts of marijuana" in a backpack on the back seat.

The weed was seized as evidence -- but he was NOT cited for the pot. Hunt WAS cited for speeding and sent on his way.

Hunt was NOT formally arrested -- no mug shot. But, he was placed in a cop car during the search.

Just a matter of time for Hunt get into hot water again with the league and/or legal system.

As I was saying on the first page of this thread, anyone who wishes to sign this guy needs to accept that there is going to be trouble to follow.

He doesn't have his mind right and is going to continue to get into trouble again and again. Expect continuing suspensions

This actually could be a blessing in disguise and be a similar josh Gordon situation. Now we can play the game of offering him a 1 year deal vet minimum and get cut the moment his slips up because the 5-7 million deal is pretty much off the table I don't see anyone giving him that.

Before anyone of us can judge him lets not turn a blind eye to all the things lynch did in Buffalo hitting a woman with his car drunk at 3am and getting caught a second time driving drunk in California. People can actually change when you put them in a situation where people support them and want them there which turned Lynchs career around. Not saying its guaranteed to work with Hunt but I do think its worth the risk.

RB is literally the easiest position to draft, and they will draft a RB but it might not be til round 6 or 7. I think round 3 should be our target, there are more than a few RBs that would fit this teams style and should be there for us.

The problem is, RB is also one of the most dependent positions. Without an OL even a great RB will struggle.

To date the hawks have passed up on Dalvin Cook, Nick Chubb, Alvin Kamara and Kareem Hunt so I am not confident in their ability to judge running backs

They also grabbed Chris Carson in the 7th round. [/devil's advocate]

The Seahawks have drafted well in the RB department but the problem is the injuries have derailed their seasons. There's zero reason to put money towards a FA running back with many other holes needed to fill and I trust PC/JS to find a RB in the draft.

Geez your reaching a bunch. Besides trading for Lynch, they then signed Rawls as a UDFA who looked great until a major injury stopped him. Prosise looked electric while healthy early on, but the dude was way to fragile. Carson has done well while playing, again until injuies, Penny also same thing. No problem finding decent RBs. Personal ly don't think Hunt is all that good, more of a product of a high octane Chief offense. With the Browns he was a pass catcher coming off the bench. Yet you keep pushing for this loser.
