I think the debates are pretty much settled, and everyone agrees Tom Brady is the GoaT. Next year Tom Brady likely plays some where else though, which means somebody else QB's NE. What happens if Brady goes somewhere and doesn't have huge success, and at the same time Drew Brees goes to NE and wins a SuperBowl?

I know it's a lot of what it's and probably a stupid question. But watching the Pro Bowl (for some reason) they brought up the chance of Brees going to NE and I thought it was an interesting question.

Honestly, I think Brees is going to retire. I doubt he would want to play anywhere else but I think the stink that his boss has hanging over the Saints right now will make him want out. These last 3 years were the window for another ring and a whole bunch of weird shit happened and he missed his chance. He has all those records and it would be fitting just to walk off and await his gold jacket ceremony.

I guess we'll find out in a month on his decision. RW gave up the starting spot in the Pro Bowl for Brees to start it off so maybe there's something to it.

Yep, we will know soon enough. Class move by RW as always. Obviously, a nothing game but nonetheless, it's why players around the league respect him.
In other news, I read where Cousins finished the game and managed to even choke in a meaningless exhibition game. :L

NO did give Teddy a nice payday to stay so this is something the FO has been preparing for. RW usually puts others before himself.

I don’t think it matters. Tom wants to go out with a good season. Not a pick 6, even if it was irrelevant to the final score. Best deal would be to have him back for one year in NE to help groom future QB. Going to another team at his age could be risky. He really does not need to prove anything.

Rumor is Pats are putting out feelers on Brees, Bridgewater and Stafford.

If you all actually believe any of this crapola, I have some property I'ld like to sell. Only real possibility if Brees retiring because Saints have been talking to Bengals about the top pick.

I still think Brady stays a Patriot in 2020 to end his career. Can't see him leaving New England to play elsewhere.

He could win a SB with Cincinnati next year and I won't agree he's GOAT.

He'd be even more the most accomplished though.

Could you imagine if Stafford went to the Patriots and won a super bowl? The perception of him would completely change. Especially if he played into his late 30's. That would probably make him a hall of famer because he would probably be top 10 in passing yards.

That will probably happen. Then the Lions draft Tua and he never plays a down in the NFL after re injuring his hip walking onstage at the draft.

No one remembers Joe Montana's time as the Chiefs QB.

It won't matter for Brady at this point.
