80s hard rock and rhythm is like an oxymoron. Shit just is crazy. I’m just more of a laid back chill dude. I’m more of a sedan type with Marvin Gaye then a monster truck guy banging my head to acid rock

So you relate to Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga?

Don't have to dig anyone up. It's 2020.
Just go with the hologram performance setup for any dead rocker.
Because any dead rocker hologram concert would be >>>> than most of the living so called rockers/bands out there these days.

Jimi Hendrix FTW!

Yeah but having the real guys there dead, but live, would be shockin' as well as rockin' , especially if you could make their jaws move. You can watch old videos on you tube.

I don’t ever listen to them. Not my type of music but it’s not offensive to my ears and brains like death metal. Like I said, I’m more into laying low and chilling. I never understood that mega death “Aaaaah, Aaaaaah!!!! I want to kill everyone and light my cat on fire” with massive guitar riffs. Simply don’t get it is all.
I don’t get how you came up with Taylor Swift out of Marvin Gaye

Yeah maybe... but I'm pretty sure the NFL will not want to allow any grave desecrations...and Goodell definitely wouldn't sanction that practice, unless of course the price was right.

The greatest halftime show in Super Bowl history was not Michael Jackson. Wasn't Janet Jackson. Wasn't even ZZ Top.

Nope, the greatest halftime show in Super Bowl history was The Rock vs Mick Foley in an empty arena match!

I like a lot of different music but that metal rock and goofy ass country music gets no play in my ride. I agree and you worded it much better... “good music makes you feel how they’re feeling” and I have no interest in some guy screaming or someone talking about riding his horse cause he has an achey breaky heart.

I kind of agree. I still like Zeppelin. They were my first concert. 1971. Sort of like Deep Purple for a spell.

But I was happier with Allman Brothers or Little Feat.

The late 70's and early 80's would have been dead to me but for New Wave/Punk. Clash, Costello, Talking Heads, etc

Disco, country and rap/hip hop are the no play zones for me.

That and screechy half stripper girlie shit. At least they haven't gone and gotten Taylor fucking Swift for halftime. That would put the doomsday clock to 1 second before midnight...

They should hold a youth flag football championship at halftime every year. Would be great promotion for the sport. NFL FF is an outstanding program. Could rotate teams and age groups every year. I’d watch.
Actually, that would be cooler than the crap they roll out year after year. I can remember as a kid during minor hockey week up here, we got to go out and play a 5 minute game between periods of the local team's game. As a 7 or 8 year old, playing in front of a full arena, we thought we were awesome. A kid getting to play in front of a SB crowd would enjoy that memory for life.

Yes, I can definitely vibe to what they called hard rock in the 60s and 70s like Led Zep. Pop music like Taylor Swift and others through the years were pretty unimaginative and uninspiring but the aren’t offensive and can be catchy. I can do a little 70s disco from time to time for reminiscing purposes and there have been some great rap artists but this crap they’ve been putting out lately is just terrible. I know, I know... you’re rich, you get all the bitches and you’ll kill someone if they step on your Jordan’s. Same shit over and over. I’m a 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s R&B type. Listen, people like all different types of genres and if you enjoy death metal that’s great. I’m baffled at the appeal personally. I’m just never in the type of mood to thrash and scream. Too loud and aggressive for me but to each his own.

You’re probably right. But whatever they call Poison, Ratt, Def Leopard etc is just awful. I don’t get the inspiration, the anger, the pounding, the guitar shredding, the screaming...

Please show us a "kill everyone and light my cat on fire" from ANY band I've referenced. You're a complete sissy when it comes to fashion and music. A total faggot, if you will.

There is a time for Biz Markie and Etta James, and a time for early Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica and Pantera. Walk on home, boy.

Bro, there’s never a time for that bang your head crap. Pantera.... hahaha

You have no idea how I dress outside of ONE Gucci sweatsuit. I guarantee you I dress better then some dude listening to Slayer with dirty high top Reebok’s, biker shorts and a Gwar concert shirt.

I’d be down with a Barry Manilow halftime show. He’d kick some serious ass. Maybe Neil Diamond could join him on stage. That would be pretty frigg’n awesome.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but I'd be okay with Neil Diamond.....but Manilow?...Hell nah.
