Okwara should still be there in the second. His stats are already hurting him and if he does not have better then average combine numbers he could take a big tumble.

Wishful thinking he drops into 2nd round imo. His stats may have declined this past year but pass rushers will be at a premium this year as the quality is lacking. Okwara would be an excellent addition to take over at Jack for Kennard. I have Chaisson as a higher ceiling/higher floor but higher risk too having only 1 year as a true starter.

Bob Quinn one of few NFL GMs scouting the Shrine Bowl in person

Lions GM Bob Quinn is there, as is customary. He’s one of just 11 GMs spotted in the practice sessions and base hotel. The entire Lions scouting staff is also on-premise, checking out the players who will make up the predominance of Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Most of the prospects in the Shrine Bowl are drafted in the later rounds or wind up being priority free agents. Current Lions Devon Kennard, Graham Glasgow, David Blough and Ty Johnson, as well as recent Lions like Theo Riddick, Devin Taylor, Zach Zenner and Nevin Lawson are all Shrine alums. Among more prominent names in the NFL who played in Shrine Games past: Jimmy Garoppolo, Terron Armstead, Matt Judon, Javon Hargrave, Shaq Barrett and John Brown.

15 players who could make sense for Detroit Lions in Senior Bowl

The Lions have regularly targeted players who have participated in the Senior Bowl in recent years, including Amani Oruwariye, Will Harris and Travis Fulgham in 2019, and Tyrell Crosby and Nick Bawden the year before. With that in mind, here are 15 prospects we will be watching who could make sense for the Lions this year.

Maybe it's just me, but maybe we should stop grabbing guys from the post award season games if almost none of them ever amount to anything. Besides for the 2 bolded.

Maybe Gladney from this group if he falls into the late rounds. Not as fond of these guys.

I'd have a difficult time stating that only Glasgow and Garoppolo are the only 2 in that list worthy of consideration.

Armstead has beeen a productive top 10 LT for the Saints.

Judon and Hargrave both have surpassed expectations and will be getting paid extremely well this upcoming off-season.

Shaq Barrett has done the same this year as well for TB and will see a significant payday. He struggled while in Denver but has had the talent to be successful and now under Arians/Bowles he has prospered.

I highly disagree with your take on this and @Old Lion too.

Onwenu would be a nice replacement for Glasgow

This kid is an easy mover into the 2nd level and so much more than his teammate (Bredeson) who is on the left side of that O-Line. He has power in his hands, good footwork, ability to sink his hips, a much better run blocker than pass-pro but he isn't far behind the latter than Bredeson. He's huge and needs to lose some weight but for that big of a OG, he can move, pull, climb, rather easily.
