Boston's in a weird spot with the C position... they have a number of bodies, so they don't just need another guy...

Rather, they could use an upgrade. And all the legitimate upgrades out there seem to have a high $$$ sign so that the Celtics would need to give up a Smart or a Hayward... and that's a trade-off that I (for one) don't like.

Cauley-Stein would only be marginally better (at best) than what we have now... doesn't move the needle, IMO.

I completely agree that Dallas could use him though.

Just tell Ainge to say "fuck it" and do this one. You know you want to.

Got to go watch Trey Young last night. I havent seen him in person since he was at OU. He had another good game but the Thunder put the beat down on the Hawks.

Losing Collins for so long definitely hurt for the Hawks...

... but even factoring that in, Atlanta has been a huge disappointment this season.

They're a total leaky sieve on defense... Trae being a big part of the problem on that end.

Dion Waiters can still play basketball

Looked damn good for a guy who didn't play in a game since preseason

Too bad he seems like a cancer.

He would be a valuable asset otherwise.

It isn’t that hard to be a good locker room guy. Far too many talented players have ruined what could have been solid careers because they had too big an ego and/or just didn’t know how to act.

Being an NBA role player is a damn good job.

KIDNEY STONES, y'all.

I never had them before.

Today, however, I spent the entire morning writhing on the floor by a toilet. Never had that type of relentless pain before, and the pain caused uncontrollable nausea.

After a trip to the ER, I'm doing 100% better... just gotta manage the pain and should pass them in less than a week (I'm told).

Anyway, I say all that to give this public service announcement:

Drink more water, y'all! I'm gonna pound 3 or 4 bottles a day after this experience.

Never want to go through this sh!t again.

I have horrible acid reflux...wake up at 1-3am sometimes....

Going to watch college hoops, go to casino around 1 and then watch the Lakers-76ers and around 9:30pm go to a bar for karaoke and drinks with a friend from work.

Fucking busy day off.

Everything the heat said last night including spoelstra seems to indicate otherwise and his teammates also love him. Have to think if he was a cancer then they wouldn't have him on the roster and uniform every night. I heard nothing from his years in Miami that ever suggested he was a bad locker room guy. The only issue he ever had was with playing time which i never blamed him for.

Agree.
Players definitely were supporting him last night.
Bottom line is the Heat held him accountable for his actions, or inactions for what occurred earlier in the season.
It was nothing personal.
Since, he’s gotten in shape and follow team rules.
No reason he won’t get minutes if he’s earned them again.

And he isn't moping around as he was earlier in the season. He's been more engaged on the bench since coming back from his last suspension. I don't think he ever had issues with his teammates.

Here's a trade that works:

Bucks receive:
Danny Green
Demarcus Cousins
Quin Cook

Lakers receive:
Giannis Antetokounmpo

NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Everyone wins

Although....
The Bucks might need to throw in a couple of 1st rounders to sweeten the pot

And the Bucks losing 17 wins according to TM helps their draft position for the rebuild.
