Not even remotely true. Whitney Houston is the most awarded female artist of all time and has sold 200M+ records worldwide. Her best known performances are arguably the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV and her cover of I Will Always Love You.

Still not rock n roll, however.

Seriously though... every year everyone bitches and rages on about what a joke it is, and every year they’re still bitching...

It can only be one thing. It’s either a joke no one should really care about. In which case sit back and enjoy the inductions of artists you like, because they’re pretty cool sometimes. Or it’s something that should be taken super seriously, in which case, lol, nerd.

I'm not a metal fan but agree the genre has been overlooked by the R&R HOF. I'll leave it to its fans to decide who's most worthy. But the fact Black Sabbath was eligible for 11 years before they were finally inducted has been its biggest travesty to date.

Blue Oyster Cult should have been inducted long ago imho...not to mention dozens of other bands/artists who are way more worthy than many of the current inductees.

I disagree; it's more like saying you hate ice cream altogether; there are many flavors/styles within each genre. Saying you hate an entire genre merely means you haven't been exposed to enough of said genre to find something you like IMO. That's fine, but also equating quality to only be what you like is problematic.
