Astros shutout the Yankees to clinch the ALCS. Then won game 7 in LA for the WS title.

People need to chillax a bit.
And Bonds probably hit a HR on a day he didn't inject himself, doesn't mean the only reason he was in position to do so was because of all the prior steroids and cheating.

Is it that hard to understand? I'm saying since the White Sox threw the World Series the Reds should vacate the title. And the White Sox should be forced to accept it. All White Sox fans should be forced to attend a parade, just like when the U.S. forced the mayor and other townspeople to tour that concentration camp at the end of WWII.

Sometimes I think I'm speaking another language on here.....

Astros need to be stripped of their title. What's the real punishment then? Outside of the manager and gm being fired?

Why are they even asking if the Red Sox title will be stripped before they even come to any conclusion? And why are the Yankees not being investigated with Beltran's presence there in the middle of all of this?

The shame of it is Bonds was on his way to Cooperstown without having to cheat. He assphuq'd himself
It's a different sort of apologist for Bonds versus those who think the Astros should keep their WS championship, but there are / will be no shortage of excuses for people advocating that Bonds eventually does get into Cooperstown:

1. Bonds had a Hall of Fame career before going to SF.
2. Bonds rejuvenated baseball at a difficult time by hitting all those HRs.
3. Bonds was never caught testing positive for a banned substance, PED or otherwise.
4. Bonds was never convicted of any crime, relating to BALCO, perjury or otherwise.
5. So many other players used steroids anyway, and Bonds wasn't the only one.
6. It's really, really hard to hit a major league curve ball or 98 mph fastball, so steroids don't really matter.
7. Players have always cheated, with greenies or coke, or stealing signs, or something...

etc.

Either we pretend that these institutions have honor, or we don't. In the end, I think the amount of money involved makes it impossible.

I feel I should clarify. In no way, shape, or form should Bonds now be in the HOF. If he were admitted to the HOF the entire institution is worthless IMO. I have heard the "show me where he failed a test" argument many times, and frankly its weak. The eye test, the chatter, the journalistic evidence all point to him being a cheater.

I know and I agree entirely. Just saying that you and I will increasingly by in the minority. As painful as it is to see A-Rod on TV now, strutting around as though we have all forgotten he’s the biggest cheater of all time, one day the millennial baseball writers will vote him in, and he’ll be wearing a HOF jacket in Cooperstown.

I agree

Every year when the HOF ballot results are released I pay more attention to the afore mentioned class of cheaters to see if their percentages increase. This year for example, Bonds and I believe Clemens increased by at least 1%. Statistically nothing significant, but ethically I think that is bullshit. Apparently at least one voter is forgetting or forgiving as you mentioned. That's a travesty

I’m gonna go ahead and say the Dodgers were cheating too, they just haven’t been caught yet. Any team worth its weight in salt is cheating
Is that how you graduated from grammar school?
