Maybe they'll next have a robot version of a commissioner that will shrug when teams cheat their way to a World Series.Hope they go to it in the regular season. Reputation calls should never happen for a pitcher or batter.
Meh. That doesn’t bother meMaybe they'll next have a robot version of a commissioner that will shrug when teams cheat their way to a World Series.

Can't wait to see dirt kicked on a fucking bot!
Will they retroactively kick Greg Maddux out of the HOF? Without reputation calls, he’d have lost about 50 more games.
Can't wait until Gardenhire tries to kick dirt on one.
Just like all the times managers currently kick dirt on umps after a bad ball/strike call. Can't wait to see dirt kicked on a fucking bot!
An ump will still have to be there. If a pitcher spikes a 50 footer that bounces into the strike zone, the ump on the field would have to over rule the robot. Plus the home plate ump would still be needed for fair or foul calls on infield grounders, plays at the plate, etcWill be awesome watching a player get called out on strikes and turn around to complain only to realize no one is there.
Unless they plan to have a figurehead ump out there who calls other plays but not balls/strikes. Then he will just throw his hands up and tell em to take it up with "number 5".
Home plate ump wears an earpiece, and relays the call from the bot. Will be awesome watching a player get called out on strikes and turn around to complain only to realize no one is there.

If it can go more than 6 innings, I’m inI think that if they used a pitching machine we'd have more consistent pitching.
