Terrible grade, but my first attempt and not too familiar with the rankings at all the positions yet. Still think I did pretty well here, given team needs. I traded down once (in the 1st) to pick up a second, as I didn't like the value of the remaining options at #22 (and was targeting Gross-Matos). Figure YG-M and Chaisson can fill for either Lawson or Hughes (figure at least one of them is gone this off-season). Chaisson and Gay can fill for Alexander, depending on the scheme need. Black offers a big, physical receiver, if a bit raw (timing of picks was never right for a more experienced big WR prospect).

Your score is: 31499 (GRADE: C+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 30 (G.B.): Yetur Gross-Matos, DE/OLB, Penn State (B+)
Round 2 Pick 22: KLavon Chaisson, DE/OLB, LSU (B+)
Round 2 Pick 30 (G.B.): Willie Gay, OLB, Mississippi State (B)
Round 3 Pick 22: Tarik Black, WR, Michigan (A)
Round 4 Pick 22: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State (B+)
Round 5 Pick 9: Jordan Elliott, DT, Missouri (A+)
Round 5 Pick 21: Zack Moss, RB, Utah (A+)
Round 6 Pick 10: Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan (A+)
Round 6 Pick 22: Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue (B)
Round 6 Pick 23: Logan Stenberg, OG, Kentucky (A)

Just finished a live mock draft for the Bills. I used pick 167 to trade up a few spots in the 2nd, got nervous that Lewis wouldn't slide to me past the Rams.

#52 Terrell Lewis, Edge, Alabama
The last potentially elite DE/OLB available IMO, Bills can ease him in.

#86 J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
Can pair with Singletary for a dominant backfield.

#128 Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Michigan
Elite talent, never put it together with Michigan's QB situation, return ability. Big slot?

#188 Isaiah Coulter, WR, Rhode Island
Sleeper candidate with size/speed, looking down the line a bit.

#207 Javaris Davis, CB, Auburn
Smaller CB, slot with outside upside.

#239 Marc-Antoine Dequoy, S, Montreal
Strong pro day, elite speed/quickness, if over-aged.

I'd like to see Trevon Diggs, or Gross-Matos get to us...but I doubt it.

Winfield would be nostalgic.

I don't see the need to waste picks on WR.

Heard Beane is liking Cameron Clark for O line on day 3.

I feel good with what we did. We got Diggs a sure threat, with less time to scout and our overall track record with drafting receivers in the first round I am glad with what we did.

It's odd that this year of all year's I haven't followed much of the pre draft process

if Ezra Cleveland falls to us, I'd be glad.

Dobbins I think is the best RB in this case, I don't know how others don't agree with that. I'm not high on the idea of spending a high pick on a RB, but if he falls to us I'll take it.

Trevon Diggs might fall to us too.

Epenesa and Moss, great value so far (and at positions of upcoming need). In my live mock, I had the positions right but not the players, lol (Lewis vs Epenesa, Dobbins vs Moss). I knew that live mock was way off when Dobbins was still available in the 3rd and I considered drafting Moss just to be more realistic, lol. Epenesa actually went at pick 26 in our live mock, or I would've considered him too (although I admit I'm "infatuated" with Lewis' upside, lol).

I thought its been pretty good so far.

I look at it as Stephon Diggs was Buffalo's frist round pick. Add in the rest and I think this draft is a solid b+ to A-. Without a first round option, this has gone much better than I thought it would have.

Fromm will be had at a great price and for that number, he can ride the bench. Josh is a madman at times so Buffalo needed a quality backup and they just got one. soemone that can do the job until concussion protocols are over.

The kicker was odd but after last year, there's a need to be addressed. I never heard of Bass, but the tapes of him are great.

I think that the pick for Fromm may be a long game play. If Fromm shows anything in preseason and actual games, he might be able to be traded in a couple of years for a 2nd round pick.
