Oh, gosh I dunno,

My guess would be that biggest choke job in CFB history game known as 13-9...

what kind of demented bastard starts a thread like this anyway?:pout:

Someone whose team has experienced a lot of defeats recently.

Changed the landscape of all cfb. Les couldn’t go to Michigan. Instead, we all know. SEC was different. Big10 was different. All from a weird ass upset. That was crazy.

2008 when Bama came to Athens and beat the shit out of the preseason number 1 Bulldogs in a blackout game.

Final score was only 41-30, but Bama was up 31-0 before we UGA fans knew what was happening.

The Florida game that year was also the most lopsided loss I can remember, but after the Bama beatdown, the vinegar was already out of us.

Just one year prior, Mark Richt beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and beat Florida, and came awfully close to playing for a natty. We returned pretty much all the difference makers for 2008, and we thought we would build on that 2007 season, but we got put in our place real quick.

Then we had the dark years of 09-2011 to follow.

I remember where I was for that one. I had been helping my buddy move furniture that day. We were finished moving that heavy crap, ordered some grub and settled in to watch a little CFB that evening and figured that Bama/ UGA game would be a good place to start, well, before we had our wings and pizza half way eaten that puppy was OVAH

For Georgia Tech our expectations are kinda low. We've had SEVERAL below .500 seasons lately.

The only "humbling" defeat that comes to mind would be in 2009 vs UGA. We were 10-1 going into the game. UGA was 6-5. They came into our house and beat us 30-24. The score wasn't a blow out. But this would have been the year for us to stick it to them and we shit the bed.

If CFB had a Chicago Cubs/Boston Red Sox of times past... WVU would be it

I already addressed Nebraska. What you say means nothing. You wanna know something that Nebraska has never done?

Nebraska has never been a top 5 team and lost to a then FCS team and drop out of the rankings completely the next week. ESPN has released a bunch of new shows given the 150 year anniversary. One of those new shows was The Greatest: Upsets - where they describe in good enough detail when Michigan was the laughing stock of the college football world.

Matter of fact, since FBS/FCS has become a thing, I don't think Nebraska has EVER lost to an FCS opponent. I could be wrong, but I can't think of one.

I couldn’t tell you if Nebraska has even played an FCS team. I just know the last time we played Nebraska — it was 39-0 at the half and you had -2 yards of total offense before UM started pulling kids out of the band to make it fair. If you have a more embarrassing loss than that — I’d be thoroughly impressed

Bitch, please.

we lost to Wisconsin one time and they set a single game rushing record with only two offensive plays.

The Bush Push was hard to take. And this year’s shit show in Ann Arbor wrecked the season. Didn’t matter that they won out. Pollsters gave up on them.

But nothing will ever top BC 1993. Cost us the National Championship.

1978 Orange Bowl; 1977 Season

Arkansas 31
Oklahoma 6

A win would have been an NC.
But at the time, like 4 other teams were in front of Oklahoma, so nobody thought it could happen, and Switzer treated it like a vacation, which is understandable given the circumstances, wasn't prepared, but then BOOM, you are playing for the National Championship.

All you have to do is beat #23 whatever whatever, with 3 of it's best players suspended, but no.

Losing to an FCS school with a 13 year head coach and being ranked #5 in the country (for God knows what reason) is worse than getting blown out 56-10 on the road with a first year coach.

I caught you using the 'band' comment the first time... and it wasn't very funny. You use it again as if the second time it will be a zinger... but it fails again.

App St came into the Poor House and retired Lloyd Carr. Its on par with Howard beating UNLV.... except UNLV doesn't claim blue blood status.

Every loss (or tie) to ohio state ... We have had some heartbreaking, once in a lifetime and bullshit losses over the years, but nothing hurts worse than a loss to those filthy buckeyes.
Hurts worse? Ok, I can buy that because of the rivalry.

But embarrassing? Nothing can be more embarrassing than being 5th in the country and losing to an FCS team... then dropping out of the rankings. I think that may be the largest single week drop ever.

It was 56-10 because UM emptied the bench at halftime. That’s what happens when you have a 40 point lead and the opposing offense has negative yards.

I know........it was the coaches fault. Has been for 20+ years at Nebraska. At what point do you accept the fact Nebraska will never recruit like the top schools and now that they moved to the B1G West — it has made it even worse for your school to recruit?!?

And I could have said UM dressed their cheerleaders, but I think they would have ran the score up even more on Nebraska. So I went with the band.

20 years... recruits... blah blah blah.... you do realize that since joining the B1G, Nebraska and Michigan are 2-2, right?

So yeah... I would go with coaches.

I see you trying... band, cheerleaders. That isn't how comedy works. You already fucked up the joke, now you are faced with two options. You can either let it die and try again later or keep going, own that shit, cross your fingers and hope that it somehow at least turns into self deprecating humor.

Either way, don't hold your breath.

If anyone knows how comedy works — it is Nebraska fans. They been watching a comedy of a football program for quite a few years now.

But I know — it is the coaches fault.

Dude your silly recruiting arguments have been lost repeatedly. Why do you still throw it out there? It's starting to get real pathetic.

2019 when the two time two time defending undefeated universal national champion of all time lost to Tulsa....

Oh, wait.

That's not mine.

That's somebody else's.
