Mock Offseason Exercise...

Been doing this with a group of guys for quite some time now and it is pretty fun.

Home | Forum

The overview, you take over an NFL team and control them for the off season. You tender your restricted free agents, make trades if you want, sign UFAs, then draft rookies for your team, all the while staying under the cap.

how many people have the same team? or i see this looks like a new board, is this just your friends on here, like a private board?

Yeah. Dude erases it from year to year. Kinda sucks. It would be cool to go back and see it from years ago. I go back every once in a while throughout the season and look at how my draft and FA was and such.

I would like to, I feel like I need a co owner. I'm not good with caps and all that stuff!

I would be able to help you out. I told them to hold the Steelers for you and if you end up not taking them, I would just do it.

Sounds uber complicated... How are we supposed to sign UFAs? Does it become a bidding war amongst the owners?

thats kinda where i was, my brain still isnt working right from that car accident, i have a feeling id make a fn mess of things

No worries my man. I'd be interested but don't know if I'd have the time to lead it.

And whose to say that we can't just restructure current contracts to fit everything under the cap? Seems like an easy way to get around things if you want to go on a spending spree.
