LOL, ok, maybe we're getting just a weeeeeee bit ahead of ourselves, but nonetheless, a good article on the player who will undoubtedly be this season's lineup sooner rather than later.

Sox believe in 'Magic'

I plan on catching at least one ST game this Spring, maybe two again like last year. I sure hope to see him and Robert in the lineup. And I'll make sure it won't be a split squad game to attend, which would reduce my chances of seeing them play together.

The only reason he won't start the season is so the Sox and stretch out his service term. I'm excited to see this guy play. I predict - every team in the league are going to have a guy like this in the lineup. Someone has to get on base, or advance the runners.

Maybe the Sox can stick a buzzer under his jersey and see if that improves his HR totals. ;)

Yeah, unless the Sox do for Madrigal what they did for Jimenez and robert, we can count on Nick not coming up until the extra service year has been secured.

I don't expect this kid to ever be any type of deep ball threat, but I'll be more than satisfied if he lives up to all his other abilities, ie good hitting, solid eye, great defense, good speed. Give me all those, then I can live without the high dinger count.

nick m is a contact hitter, alway was and always will be…low strikeout kid.

reminds me of a pete rose type player and hitter, you boys got a goodie here…don't make him what he aint.

or

just trade him off to my club…pittsburg, and we'll make him fly sooner than latter.

If he gets on-base a lot and hits enough doubles to keep that OPS afloat. That coupled with his defensive ability and "never K's" profile. He's going to be extremely valuable to this team. A team who REEEEAAAALLLLLY has had a horrible issue with their K-BB ratio for quite a while.

We need a guy like Nick.

Other than Robert, Madrigal is the young player I look forward to watching the most.

If the odds are good, Eloy might be a tempting bet to place on him leading the AL in HRs this year. And speaking of bets, the latest over/under for the Sox win totals has jumped up to 85.5.

The Twins are at 91.5 - just based on these odds - team depth will come into play. This year - at this moment - the Sox have better depth. Both the Sox and the Twins have pitching questions. The Sox at least have a higher ceiling with their staff. I'll take the over on the Sox and the under on the Twinkies.

Yoan or Eloy to win MVP would have good odds and be tempting.

112 wins in the near future
Nick Madrigal is Pete Rose
Eloy is going to hit 50 home runs
Guaranteed wildcard
Yoan Moncada is in the MVP race...and Eloy too
85.5 wins is the over/under
Best offseason of all teams by far with clutch signing of .240 hitting catcher

Anything else I missed? The list is getting pretty f*cking long for this team.

Should I start talking sh*t to non-Sox fans now and letting peeps know the juggernaut is coming so they bets move out the f*cking way? Or are we the MLB version of the 2019 Browns and should I be bracing for impact?

is it that hard to believe more than one person is skeptical amongst all you positive peters out there? all there is with this team right now is hopes and dreams. potential. do you think other teams may have the temerity to think they've improved this off-season? all you guys are doing is setting yourselves up for a fall. like sox fans do EVERY year!

Soooooooo Sox fans are not allowed to hope after what just about everyone on the planet say that the Sox have improved themselves this offseason. Check.

Points for using the word "juggernaut." It has a nice ring to it. When the bandwagon rolls it doesn't matter what order folks get on.

of course you're allowed to hope. I hope! i just don't pretend they are what you think they are. you know, the very fact you criticize those not drinking the kool-aid shows your own insecurity in the team.

as to them improving themselves .... are you suggesting i don't think they improved themselves? if so you deliberately deceive yourself just so you can rag on me. if it wasn't so sad i'd have a good laugh.
