If he throws and looks good. He should be almost a lock to go top 2.
If I was the Redskins. I wouldn't pass on him.
Haskins is like a poor man's version of Jameis Winston.

Harsh.

Interesting the article says he is like Jamal Adams or Derwin James.
Do you think Patricia is smart enough to use a player like that effectively?

Simmons is Exactly the type of player Patricia Should want but he and BQ drafted @Old Lion 's son (Will "I'll never be anything more than a box safety who can't cover like my Dad could" Harris) in the 3rd round last year.

I believe I read that when the Lions were in nickel coverage they used a 3rd safety 40% and when in dime coverage a 3rd safety was used 70%+.

Am I supposed to understand this? Not sure what you are getting at.

If they trade back once or possibly twice, I think it's a no brainer that BQ will draft NT Derrick Brown.

He's far above any of iDL in this draft and there's no Nose Tackle who is even close to his level in this draft.

I'd like to see them get lucky and be at #10 overall if they draft him but you have to fear the Jaguars the most at #9. Cleveland needs a LT to protect Baker and if sitting at either #5 or #6 teams like them should want to move up. It's a risk hoping Brown is still there at #10.

Jaguars are nearly 3M in the red for 2020 cap space (Foles isn't getting cut. he's over 30M in dead money) so Marvel Darius will be cut (15M cap relief by doing so).

Will Harris was one of "your boys" that you liked at safety.

Relax, @Old Lion .

I’m hearing they are looking hard at Tua.

It makes sense to do that anyway just to bait the hook for a trade. Too many holes to fill to spend a pick on a QB IMO. Still I like this years QB class so I would not be too upset if we went that route.

I believe it to be real news and not smoke (but who knows). Hearing we’re bringing back both Suh and KVN via free agency too (breaking the bank for KVN Apparently it’s a done deal too). Suh wanted to come back last year. Wants to end career here. Wagner will be back too but not Glasgow. Might have to tag Kenny G.

This is what I’m hearing.

Lions mock draft roundup: More names being considered at pick No. 3

CB Jeffrey Okudah, OSU (6-1, 200)

DT Derrick Brown, Auburn (6-5, 325)

LB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson (6-3, 228)

OT Jedrick Willis, Alabama (6-5, 322)

OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia (6-5, 318)

QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama (6-1, 218)

Trade with Los Angeles Chargers for pick No. 6
“After receiving a big haul for the third overall pick, the Lions select Darius Slay’s eventual replacement. Okudah is considered the top cornerback prospect in the class.”

Wagner has 1 more year on his contract anyway so its just a matter if the Lions want to keep him. Glasgow probably does leave and Kenny G gets paid either way. I thought Suh might come back last year but have my doubts now. Cant see KVN coming back but I could be wrong there.

Rather see Kenny G get traded.

He isn't worth Top end WR money.

I agree. Lions WRs did nothing this year. :yawning:
