After six seasons, the Chris Petersen era came to an end at Washington, when he announced he was stepping down after the Las Vegas Bowl. Defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake takes over as the head Husky. Lake’s priorities will be replacing eight senior starters and junior quarterback Jacob Eason, who opted to leave early for the NFL Draft. The Huskies’ defense should be their strength, featuring three players — LB Edefuan Ulofoshio and DBs Asa Turner and Trent McDuffie — who started as freshmen last season.

ESPN's preseason poll that just came out is even worse. I think there might be a total of four SEC teams that didn't make their top 25.

Bama got back a lot of Key juniors.

Got 1 of our 2 1st round tackles back.

Got 1 of our 3 1st round receivers back to pair with Waddle.

Got Najee Harris back to pair with Trey Sanders

Most importantly got our defensive Leader Dylan Moses back.

And Mac Jones looked really good at the end of the season.

I like Bama’s chances if we stay healthy

It's hard to ignore what Mac Jones did in those final two games against two pretty solid defenses. 662 yards and 7 TDs with a ~65% completion clip in those two games. He just might be the heir apparent.

Him or Bryce Young. I like us in every game but @LSU. We play a much better schedule next year and thank God because this season was so boring for me.
