my position is all owners meddle and we dont know what the skins draft board was and if it was violated .

look at the 2019 draft thread and where Haskins was projected at the time . Most had him in the top ten

Ok so let me get this straight , fm 106 you are sourcing grant Paulsen, the guy who said Haskins blocked him from twitter and is hugely anti Haskins and Snyder and I am to take that as gospel ? From the New York post .

but when you read that there was talk of trading up into the top 5 to get Haskins which supports what I said

look did Snyder want Haskins ? Yes

was there anything more then some typical Disagreement for Haskins in the discussions ? I doubt it

and until I get a real source with a real name put to it I will be skeptical of these reports

He was a top 10 candidate for awhile.

Then he fell as the draft got closer because many scouts had legitimate questions and thought him to be a highly risky pick. And while the at was going on, rumor had it that Snyder wanted to trade up as Haskins’ stock fell.

I always assumed the pick was a done deal and I never liked it. But I was happy that snyder didn’t waste assets to trade up.

Have to agree with kbso on this one. It was widely reported that Snyder wanted Haskin's. He also wanted Griffin.

Initially Haskin's was high on the draft board but was falling as time passed.

My own take and the take of many draft types was that this was not the year to draft a QB. I stand by that thought.

All that said they drafted who they did and at this point I think you stick with him for another year or three to see how he develops. They need another QB and I still would consider someone in say round 4 that has the potential to develop.

I'm a grown up. I understand Haskins is our guy. Dude can make all the throws, so cheers to him having a breakout game today.

This is the only logical course of action. We have Haskins. Lets at least determine what we have before we make any other rash decisions. Now we need to find a coach that can develop him.
