Rice you have put more effort in on the defensive end playing alongside MJ and he would have made Jordan's life much easier on offense because he was a much better offensive player than Pippen was.

Are you insinuating that 10 time All-Defensive player Scottie Pippen wasn't as good a defender as Glen Rice?

There's no way he knows what 'insinuating' means

I’d say Kawhi. Both top in the league on defense at SF for their time. Scottie would get you 18-20/ ppg but in today’s league? 22-24/ game sure. Lebron is better than Scottie and Kawhi, but not by a lot imo.

Years Mike was gone Pippen did well but not good enough to beat Pat Riley’s Knicks.
People not taking the different eras into the equation don’t understand how defenses are a lot different today

That is a really good comp.

I think Kawhi is a 2.0 slightly better version of Pip, but I like it. Similar defensive impact, Pip was the better creator, Kawhi the better scorer.

Probably not. Kawhi wasn't even born when MJ won his first title.

See, I can say stupid shit too.

Stupid shit is even putting Pippen (a career 2nd fiddle AT BEST) even in the same sentence with Leonard . MJ/Leonard tear this league up without breaking sweat in any era

It’s impossible to compare really because the eras are so different. But as far as defensively dominant along with scoring? That’s about a good a Comparison as I can see.

But Pippen has 6 titles and Kawhi only 2. So Pippen is clearly better.

I can keep talking absolute crap. You seem to listen better that way.

Rice was better IMO. He would have a buttload of rings too if he played with the GOAT. So that means nothing. Basketball is a team game.. Obviously you're gonna win a shit ton of 'ships playing 2nd fiddle to MJ for 10-11 years.

Rice would have also been a better player playing 2nd fiddle to Jordan because he challenged his team to be better every day in practice.

You are saying all hypotheticals in why you think Rice was better...all what if's

Kawhi is a good comparison but he has a better offensive game than Scottie ever did and a knockdown shooter.

And Lebron is a lot better than Scottie was, especially offensively...Kawhi, who knows, he is a superstar and still has a long way to go.

You are undervaluing his body of work.

The year MJ was playing basketball, Pip was a legit MVP candidate on a contending team.

Don’t give me that “2nd fiddle at best” garbage.

Not his fault he played his entire prime with the GOAT.

Let me break this down rationally. And you're not going to get me to do this very often as I much prefer trolling little guys like you.

Let's for sake of argument, Kawhi was drafted in 1984 just like MJ and they both end up on the same team. Let's also say they're the exact same age (21)

Let's also just say Kawhi is the exact type of player he is now as he would be in the mid 80s.

First of all, there is no way in hell anybody dethrones the Lakers and Celtics and the NBAs main powerhouses within the first five years of MJ and Kawhi's careers.

Then you have to fight the Bad Boy Pistons. Let's say you take one from them and start off the first championship in 1990.

12-13 titles you say?

So a 39-40 year old MJ and Kawhi are beating off Shaq and Kobe in the early 2000s?

Ok then...

LOL. Prime Leonard/MJ aint losing to showtime or the Celtics. Leonard was already getting FMVP's a few seasons into the league. Pippen couldn't even reach a finals without MJ. 39-40 year old MJ and a prime Peak Leonard beating the Kobe'Shaq Lakers? Why not? Hell The Kings took them 7 games and the Sixers took a game off them and the "Mehh Spurs" in 2003 beat them. . The freaking Sixers. MJ was still one of the best players in the game even at that age. Wizards just sucked as Kwame Brown a total FLOP. MJ by 39-40 would be 2nd fiddle to a prime Leonard. And Kobe wasn't even in his best years by then either. Let Shaq have his. Shut down the rest of the team. MJ/Leonard shut Kobe down

As stated, there wouldn't be too many seasons where Leonard/MJ WOULDN"T win the title.
