So if it’s true about Chase Young do we turn our attention to Okuda? I’ve seen Auburn DT Derrick Brown mocked to us too. I think I’d rather have the CB from tOSU.

I'm all in for Okudah should Young and then Thomas are gone.

I've flip flopped between which one of Thomas/Okudah I'd take if both were available. Thomas leads for me now.

This stupid fucking shit right here.

The Lions are passing on better talent to get some clunkhead that passes their 'qualifiers'.

We need a head coach because the position has been vacant now for two years. You adjust your scheme to fit your talent. That's what coaching is. Otherwise, you're just some moke with a scheme. A fraud. A phony. A wannabe GM that wants to pick players that you think somehow magically fits your scheme.

Fuck this shit. Fuck Quinn and fuck Patricia.

he copied hoodie's style of drafting.

one line for me is still probably tldr

Unless Slay gets traded then I would switch them. I guess it would depends n how FA goes too. We have a lot of money to throw around.

not a damn thing is wrong with Decker.

I don't understand why fans would be happy with drafting an OT that specifically played on the right side in CFB and hadn't shown he was capable of playing at LT. I'd rather have two players on the roster that specifically played on the left side in CFB, It must be a "me thing" only.

makes sense on the possibility of Slay being traded.

Lions do not have a lot of money. 36 players currently signed for 2020 and anywhere between 44M-47M to draft rookies, 6M for replacements, 2M for practice squad and then depends on cuts and possible re-signing of players like Glasgow or A' Shawn. etc., etc., etc.,

Fish, Bengals and Redskins all winning today. Need more of that moving forward combined w the Lions losing out.

Why not take a QB? Stafford's injury could be a career-ender.

3rd pick now. Just need Washington to beat the Cowboys and we get Chase. Skins might not pass on him. If not, maybe we could trade Slay to move up 2 spots.

If I am drafting 2 and am Washington.
No way I am passing on Tua or Burrow.
Haskins has been shit.
They didn't move up for him either which means he might of been more of a value pick that "their guy".

I’m beginning to wonder if Tua makes sense. Let him sit one year behind Stafford. I believe the Lions have an out in 2021 w Stafford @Big_Blue_72 is that right?

How do you feel about the Lions taking Tua at 3?

Interesting...
Even though Tua is the new style of NFL QB.
I'll still take Stafford. He was playing at an elite level before going down.
If he was playing mediocre than maybe.
Kind of shows that all he needs is a creative play caller to bring him to play at top 5 QB level.

I’m just concerned w his back. He’s also got only 2 years left on his deal I believe? Not sure.

That's true. I think he deserves a chance to win with this team though. After all the shit he's suffered through.
We've only had a really good defense one year with Suh and Fairley in their primes and we got into the playoffs and robbed of a win. Pretty much never had a running game.
If the clown show will start drafting defense instead of Centers and Tight Ends then he deserves that shot. If the team doctors said it's going to be chronic then I would most certainly draft Tua.

On another note. I read Alama Francis 2 is on IR with the same injured shoulder he had in college? Pretty much leaves us a barren LB core, whether we get Chase Young or not.

Well nobody wants more Guards or Centers in the 1st round, it seems like we've proven that first round TE's are a waste. Millen proved that top 10 WR's don't make a difference, even a HoF type like Megatron didn't win a single playoff game.

Now we've done a lot of research on drafting injured players in the past, but I think a rare injury like the hip injury that ended Bo Jackson's career could be a good case study. If we draft Tua, and then he busts completely we have a real solid start to a drafting guide.

Ya I’m torn. I’m afraid BQ will just take Jeudy. Nothing wrong w him but we had 2 top WRs this year and look where that got us.

If we pick at 3 (and Young is gone) I really wonder if QB is in play. I think Miami takes Tua if we don’t anyways. Would suck to pass on him then see him be great.

I think trade down a bit is a very real possibility at that point.
Herbert and Tua will be on the board and there are plenty of teams that could fall in love with either.
Miami has a gazillion picks to do so.
