Washington ends this season with three games against division foes seeking to do what they haven't in their last seven against NFC east opponents. That's right they're 0-7 in the same number of last played conference games and worse 0-5 against the Eagles counting forward since their last win on December 11th 2016!
Bill Callahan tells us that winning a division game will be the goal this Sunday in what I perceive to be a winnable game. However, this goal, playing the "spoiler," is easier said than done, and may not be enough to fire up the troops against a rival still in the hunt to win a division title.
There's one other division that's at play here and its roots are bound together by fans who are (temporarily?) splitting allegiances with other NFL teams, the #FireBruceAllen bunch who seem to believe that winning reduces the hashtag's potential to become reality and ardent "win 'em now" fans who simply cannot bring themselves to root for losses. While it's going to take some time to work through our own dysfunctions, we ask...
1. Who wins this game?
2. Final score?
3. Player(s) of the game?
4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have everyone talking on Monday morning?
5. What's your rooting interest, a win...or...a loss?
