It's Bears/Packers week and it's December. So, naturally the current accuweather forecast for kick-off looks like this: Clear and Sunny 11 degrees 10 MPH winds with gusts up to 15 MPH and wind chill temps in the single digits.

I am rather scared because I actually feel good about this game. Bears fans are going to pick the Packers because of Rodgers and bad memories. But that man has been declining slowly for a while now and it's really beginning to show. This is the Aaron Rodgers we held to 10 points at home. The Aaron Rodgers who has been carried to most of his victories by the run game this year.

DISCLAIMER: I don't think there's ever been a better QB than prime Rodgers and I picked GB to win the SB in pre-season.

Stop Aaron Jones and the run game? We really should win this game so long as the offense doesn't revert back to its horrendous pre-Thanksgiving form. Akiem Hicks being back will help in this endeavor and in freeing up Mack/the pass rush to get to Rodgers. Who has just been taking an insane amount of unnecessary sacks.

This is a GB team that is really fortunate to be where it is. 10-3 with a +36 point differential doesn't lie. You're lucky. They got handed their home game vs Detroit. They lost to Philly and were decimated by LAC. They got to play KC with Matt Moore. They suck by Carolina by one yard. They were embarrassed on national TV vs San Francisco. We gave up 10 points to them and lost due to our own ineptitude that we all hope to have grown from a bit since Week 1. Their defense is bad. Their passing game has very much underwhelmed.

Last week, they managed to escape the mighty Washington Redskins at home.

Look at their games that they've struggled in offensively. CHI, PHI, DET, LAC, SF... They all have the same thing in common. Aaron Jones failed to accomplish anything. Stop him (and Williams too) you stop this offense. It's rather clear.

At times, I've been called a traitor for years because of my praise for Rodgers and this team. Not this year. This team much more closely resembles a team with our record than 10-3.

I think the luck runs out, starting Sunday and then if that happens. Probably again in Minnesota for them.

But I do get it... Rodgers has beat us like a red-headed step-child. Psychologically it may be difficult to stop that. And I'm sure there's some magic left in the old man. Somewhere.

I want Mitch to go off and we win by 3 TD's...and the mediot narrative is "Maybe we were wrong about Trubisky" and for noon to start posting memes of o-faces because he's so happy.

You really had us going 13-3 while sweeping the Packers and then losing the NFC Championship again to those f*ckos?

I'll dig up the posts on NFL general. They're there somewhere. My predictions weren't exactly the most consistent thing in the world. I said we would go 10-6 quite a bit too.

Some interesting things I saw on the Packer website:

Inbox: He just has a presence about him

Matt from Manhattan, KS

On Sept. 5, we beat the Bears 10-3. We enter this game with a record of 10-3. At kickoff, the number of days since the last Bears game will be... 102. Eh, I say close enough.

Cue the Twilight Zone music?

John from Madison, AL

A very interesting thing to note about the Packers-Bears rivalry is that the Bears led this rivalry by as many as 24 games back in 1992 but the Packers now lead it by three games. I never thought I'd see that in my lifetime! It should be of no coincidence that the Packers' starting quarterback since 1992 has mainly been either Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers while the Bears had many.

Sunday will be the 56th time in the last 57 Packers-Bears games that either Favre or Rodgers has started at QB for Green Bay. The only exception was Brett Hundley on Nov. 12, 2017. If my research is accurate, Trubisky is the 19th different Bears QB to start against the Packers in that time

...and then reality sets in.

The Bears look good against shitty teams like Detroit, Dallas, and the Giants. Not so much against a playoff team.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.
