Really like your avatar. I had a green 1970 GTO with a 455 HO engine and a 4-speed. Loved that car. 12 mpg but I didn't care; I was buying premium gasoline at 7-11 for 39 cents/gallon and using a helluva lot of it.

I thought this was wrong. Felt sure ISU finished better than 6th. But, when I looked things up, you are pretty accurate...w/o splitting hairs. ISU finished in a four way tie for 3rd with OSU, KSU and Texas. Head to head they beat Texas but lost to OSU and KSU. So they could be considered 5th at best. 5th/6th potayto/potawto.

Ty for the kind words on my car, I spent 2 years and more money than I will admit 2 building it but I built it for me. I wanted 1 since I was 16. I did all the work on it except the running gear and top. It has a Chevy HO 350 crate motor and 3.55 gears auto tranny my knees are too old to shift gears never checked the gas mileage but it is not good and like you I don’t care. Fun to drive and everybody looks. I love my car.

Reminds me of Aaron Rodgers at Cal. USC was in BCSCG and Texas got Rose Bowl due to the Rose Bowl rule. Cal was Pac 12 #2 and played Texas Tech in the Holiday Bowl. Rodgers complained how they deserved Rose Bowl over Texas and how they got screwed. Then TTU won by 14 points.
