Bobby Roode was losing steam anyway. That whole thing with Ziggler, Corbin and him and feuding with Roman Reigns was just thrown together out of nowhere. Sucks but he won't be missed too much, to be honest.

I feel like he could've had a great run in WWE, but there was a period of time where they brought in like every top TNA guy they could find and wanted to give them the NXT title at the same time. Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Roode, just to name a few. Not to mention Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens and then Adam Cole. Seems like there was never a strong champion like there has been lately with Ciampa and Adam Cole.
I don't think Roode ever gets a single's title opportunity from here on out, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind seeing him with the IC title because right now it's just left on the back burner like it was before The Miz held onto it. Unpopular opinion here but The Miz is amongst the greatest IC champs of all time, in my opinion. Shinsuke with the title just doesn't feel important in the slightest.

Miz was such a good heel. Could still draw wrestling heat in today's smark IWC world. He made people care about the IC title because he made people want to see him lose.
He was the best heel they had in quite some time.
Seth Rollins was an excellent heel in The Authority days even though I personally thought the Authority angle itself had been done to death.

Couldn't agree more. I hope the whole "GM who runs the show screws the babyface character out of every opportunity until they have a match at a big PPV where the GM loses and gets fired" type of storyline is over with forever. I'm over all of that.

I saw a post on this before regarding Rollins. They almost referred to the shield as being faces. They surrounded the ring and beat up anyone and everyone until they got too popular to not take credit for.
How could anyone think that Rollins did not start out as a heel in the shield?
