Yes, it's THAT Andrew Bailey. The one who pitched or the A's recently.

I haven't done the math, but the average age of this staff has to be like 38 or something, and Ron Wotus is skewing the curve.

Okay so I did the math: average age is 36 years old. Without Wotus, the average age is 33!

Including Kapler the average age is 37.

There are two spots to fill I guess. One is the 1st base coach, clearly, but not sure what the other is. According to Kapler, there are two opens spots though.

The staff is about as young (minus Wotus) as the roster.

Considering how many pitching and hitting coaches, maybe they'll have an assistant bench coach . . . or try to pioneer a 2nd base coach.
