I'm taking Frost tonight. I feel like he needs one.

Paraphrased from Meltzer's twitter; if/when Kase makes his debut, he'll be the 5th member of the Flyers 2015 draft class to play in the NHL (Provorov, Konecny, Vorobyov, Kase, Marody (w/ EDM).

That was a hell of a draft for the Flyers. I remember when they picked Konecny with the 2nd first round pick. I was giddy.

Although i love Tk it might've been better to draft Aho in that spot.

That Aho pick was a steal, no doubt.

God, imagine what the Bruins would like like if they had done better than DeBrusk, Zboril, and Senyshyn.

They could had 3 of Konecny, Aho, Connor, and Boeser. They'd be unbeatable.

pretty sure I saw somewhere that Hart goes tonight. I’m pretty comfortable with either right now.

looks like Kase is in for Lindblom. Upper body injury. Tonight is going to be a bit of an uphill battle without TK and Lindblom against a very good Avs team. Going to need Giroux-Couturier-Voracek line to step up and for the goaltending to be good.

They are feeling comfortable and i hope the train does keep rolling all the way to a cup. i will however say that whether it was Braun or Hagg as the 6th Dman the results would be the same and Hagg didn't cost us a second and third and would not put us in cap hell so we could have some room to make a move or two if injuries set in.
See I'm of the mindset that I'm happy to have both of them you can never have enough dmen. I would be even happier to see a healthy and productive Morin. Going short on dmen to start the year and then desperately looking for them later makes no sense. Like I said that approach cost them a cup back in the day. 2+3 for a vet dman is the least of my worries. I'm more worried about Patrick that is scary stuff now I hope he can play again.

Let's win this Flyers. We can beat the Avs. I'm taking Giroux to get us started. Provy has to be super glued to Mackinon though.

Good game. Pretty sure we led in shots, chances, hits and faceoffs, but did not bury the puck in their net without our top two goal scorers. Francouz definitely got lucky a few times, but our forward depth isn't near as strong as theirs without Konecny, Lindblom, Patrick and Raffl.

With both teams 100% healthy, it would be one hell of a game and/or especially series.

Yep, that was a tough one for sure. Can't say i'm overly surprised at the L. Glad they showed they can hang with them though, even with a depleted lineup. That 2nd period was well played for sure.

And what a save by Hart.
