Pats defenders held the Rams' offensive stars on many plays and got away with it, which is not really cheating; it's good gamesmanship.

Ty Law did the same and picked off Peyton 3 times in one game. Peyton cried to Polian , who in turn went to the Committee and they started enforcing the no contact after 5 yards. Starting 2004 Qbs rating went up and int went down

I like to think Belicheck would take Rutgers seriously. I just think it's how he is wired. Don't underestimate anyone. Obviously I have no idea how he works, but the guy wins more than everyone else so I imagine he's wired a little different.
No, I think you're right. If there's one thing Belichick has thrived on it is taking every opponent as serious as the next.

I think they filmed the Rams walk through and got their game plan on tape. I'm not alone in that opinion. Kurt Warner still says today that they knew what we were going to do before we did it.

Look, I’m a lifelong pats fan but I’m telling you I’m not a “homer”. I’m critical of them. Also, I don’t take sports stuff serious. Trust me, when I lived in Boston I did. After I got out I realized how unhealthy the sports fandom is there. I’ve still got my season tix and I’ve been to several SBs including last years but it’s strictly entertainment for me

That all being said, I’m telling you they absolutely did NOT videotape that walk thru. How do I know? It’s all out there on the internet from VERY credible sources. First, the pats video staff was in the superdome during the practices. They were there setting up their cameras for the game. However, superdome personnel testified that there was no power to the areas where they were setting up the cameras. Therefore, It was impossible to operate the equipment. Second, and even more credible Matt Walsh (the guy who was doing the videotaping) testified the he did NOT tape the walk thru. Matt Walsh HATES the patriots. He was fired by them and when spy gate broke he willingly and voluntarily complied with the leagues investigation. He was with another guy who was setting up the cameras and after they left the superdome he turned to the guy he was with and said “hey, we should have videotaped that”. They never even tried.

Third, The Boston newspaper that first reported that the pats taped the walk thru had to issue a retraction of their story once it was conclusively proven to not be true.

As far as Kurt Warner’s statement, I believe he was correct. The pats did know. How? They had videotaped the signals in the past. (Again, signals were videotaped but NOT the walk thru). Pats don’t deny they did that. In fact other teams did it too because at that time it was NOT against the rules!!

The NFL rules clearly stated that you could not videotape signals AND use those videotapes DURING THE SAME GAME. Again, you could videotape but you couldn’t use them during the same game. That’s why ALL teams videotaped.

The NFL wanted to curtail the practice of videotaping signals so during the off season before the pats got caught the league issued a MEMO saying “don’t videotape”. They never changed the ACTUAL rule. They simply issued a memo. BB was arrogant and said “it’s just a memo. It’s not an actual rule change so I’m gonna follow the RULE and continue to videotape but not use the videotape DURING THE SAME GAME.” He was WRONG to do that. He knew what the league meant but he tried to skirt the intent by hiding behind the inconsistency between the memo and the actual rule.

Shannon Sharpe Calls For Bill Belichick’s Firing If Bengals Allegations Are True

I was not harassed when wearing Packer gear to a game there last year but am maybe not famous enough?

My visit the Gillette was not bad at all

But no she should not stand up as that is being an asshole I do not go to games to try and look through other people

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' girlfriend says she was harassed at a game by Patriots fans

Patrick Mahomes' girlfriend, Brittany Matthews, said she was harassed by New England Patriots fans while wearing Kansas City Chiefs gear at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday.

Matthews said on Twitter that she and Mahomes' brother, Jackson, had to be moved from their seats to a safer spot during the game because of the harassment from Patriots fans.

Matthews, who live-tweeted the experience, said the abuse began after a Patriots fan recognized them and told others, "Let's give them s---."

She also said people got upset with her for standing up during the game.

"This place is horrible, people already yelling every time I stand up, am I not aloud to stand up for football game?" she said, adding, "I was told if I stand they will call security and kick us out, can't stand for your team?"

I just read her tweets... what did people do that was so terrible? A “drunk guy” made a joke?

I’ve been to plenty of away stadiums. You don’t get to cheer like you do at a home game. If someone was jumping up and down in front of me I’d get pretty annoyed too.

It sounds to me like she’s out if touch with reality.

I’ll add those: I have pats season tix. Obviously I don’t go bc I don’t live there anymore. I let my friends go. Every pats season tix holder KNOWS if you get out of line they take your season tix. It’s almost a zero tolerance policy. Everybody knows that and nobody wants to lose their tix so there’s talk but that’s It.

There is a clear reason why the Pats video taped them.
IT WASN'T TO CHEAT!!

It was for training purposes.
They show that to new hires on how not to be a lazy, incompetent franchise.

Yea she seems like a light weight

And the same way at Lambeau if you are out of line your tickets are taken away. I am on the board of a club with about 400 people in it called the Madison Packer Backers. The club own like 65 season tickets to the Packer games. Only club members are allowed to use the tickets and club members are reminded each game before leaving the chartered buses that if they fuck up and get a ticket yanked that they owe the club roughly $3000 for the seat license fees paid for each of the season tickets.

If this whole thing grows legs, I'm gonna throw rocks at Pat's fans, but full disclosure I think INTEL should be allowed in sports as long as it's not stollen, (hidden cameras would be stealing) bought, or given by inside sources. If a team can figure out how to get a camera openly in use I say alls fair.

In cold weather it's a lot easier to grip plus throw a ball that isn't hard like a rock and catch it. Also harder to fumble it for same reasons. Go try it I have a million times. You would expect teams in domes or in the south to have less fumbles but there is obviously more to it. Either way Hammers stat he posted is beyond statistical probability. Something had to be going on.

BB is playing us all for patsies is my conclusion....
You must be really good in math drama queen? Are you sure it wasn't a million and one times?

Why not go study the IGL a million times and let us know what your conclusion is?

I have lived in the Northeast for 50 years and have tried it many times. Also as soon as I take a football out of my trunk or garage, I could tell in a second if it is underinflated and needs air. The refs touched the ball after every play and not 1 noticed? Pats score 17 pts with low pressure in first half and 28 after correct pressure and Brady went for like 13-13 to start of second half, so the added pressure helped.
Sonny do you have any thoughts on why it didn't work on the four Colts balls that tested under pressure?

I do. Since the refs say that ran out of time to check the other eight. Maybe the didn't get properly inflated. Thus the abysmal Colt play.

Flyer Fin said he tried it a million times and he's not one to exaggerate, so must be true. In the summer in FL, the balls expand because of heat, hope he takes some air out, so less fumbles
Stop you're going to make him cry. Not a tantrum like when RK got busted for a hand job but a good solid cry none the less.

You can if you go to Cincinnati, because it is basically a home game for the away team anyways.
