Fun night but he still isn’t the answer or anything close to a guy to lead a team to an 8 seed let along be a contender.

It was a nice "fuck you" to the head coach though

Actually, the Bulls just may have stumbled across how to win a title.

Just have the coach bench him once every few games to piss him off.

He obviously is watching a lot of movies and confuses them with reality... Unless the Bulls trade for a leader, they have no worthy future ahead of them.

It's a great opportunity to trade for CP3 in a couple of weeks... It will be a win-win trade for both sides.

As a Bulls fan, I won't go into total dumpster fire mode. I like some of our young guys and I really do like Lavine. I feel he could be a solid number 2 with a true veteran leader to guide the team. I really wanted Derrick to come back and be that leader instead of signing with Detroit. I'm not sure CP3 is the guy I would want though as I don't think it is a good idea to cut into Coby's minutes. He is going to be a star. I would like to of seen a good SF or Big man to lead this team. Since Lauri is so versatile he can play the 3 or 4 position so whichever one you could get a veteran leader at could of been nice.

How about Blake for Porter and Valentine?

that's not bad. It seems weird that Blake is considered the veteran now...I'm old enough to remember him as a rookie.

I would honestly pack Satoranski, Young, Dunn and Arcidiacono (who would then not be needed anymore after adding Paul) and trade with OKC for CP3 if I was to decide for the Bulls F.O...

It would add the leader the Bulls badly miss and would help accelerate White's progress (who I would then move to the bench having replaced him by CP3 in the starting roster)... Then use Valentine and Kornet coming from bench to make back for Young's role...

What good does trading for aging CP3's awful contract do for the Bulls? They need a true point, but not an expensive vet with a short window remaining that wants to win now.

Would offer Rondo for Valentine or Hutchison, but he has to approve any trade because of his early Bird status, and I doubt he would be intrigued about leaving Lebron/AD to go to Chicago.

Ideally we would have gotten Jimmy Butler back and had him lead the core we got now along with keeping Lopez. Starting 5 could of been...

pg-Coby White
sg-Zach Lavine
sf-Jimmy Butler
pf-Lauri markinnen
c-Lopez

That's not a bad core.

When the Bulls traded Mirotic, I said: "that's the end for them"...

IMO, what they should do from now on it's 4 things:

1. Trade for a leader.

2. Simplify the roster and make rolls clear, start White (PG), Lavine (SG), Porter (SF), Carter (PF) and Felicio (CF), use Arhidiakono (PG/SG combo), Hutchinson (SG/SF combo), Young (SF/PF) combo and Markkanen (PF/CF combo) for rotation - trade all others.

3. Change the coach.

4. Look for a center... (why the fuck did they let Robin Lopez go? They had plenty of money to give him a good contract and keep him)

Robin Lopez Is a mediocre to good player at the best - not worth a really great contract - I don't know why they didn't see him, but he is not a franchise player - more of a good role player to me

Dwight was available for a long time, but nobody took the chance.

The Lakers like to to work with lost causes and give them a chance, but props to them in making Howard a player again, that was impressive

It wasn't all the Lakers, Dwight got himself in prime shape this summer and must have come to the conclusion that he had to change his ways and get serious.
