This guy is impressing me more every week. I’m not sure if his contract status. But he is a must play in all of my lineups. Just imagine if the Pats picked him up

Assuming your talking AJ Brown? He's a 2nd rookie, so safe to assume he's locked up for at least the next three years, and honestly the way Brady has declined, I'd rather have him right where he is than on the Pat's.

But yes, the kids looks to be a future superstud.

Brown has been slept on big time in Yahoo leagues. His ownership is still just at 46%! Four weeks ago it was a little over 15% I think. I wanted to offer Drake for him straight up to the Chase Edmonds owner but didn't go through with it.

I've been using him all year. Was my favorite WR in the class. He's a beast. A faster Anquan Boldin.

I agree definitely overlooked in the draft. He was like 7% owned in my leagues in week 3. Now he’s 38%.

no , neither are elite, not even close. Mclaurin was impressive initially. then fizzled. I thought coming out of college AJ brown was the best, i still do. Mclaurin is very good.

Well I sure ain't saying he's elite today. But, my eye test says the next Julio Jones, has since week one. There might be some magic happening in Nashville soon...

He's still getting shutdown by press coverage until he overcomes that weakness he's going to be inconsistent.

Good, maybe even very good - but it's wayyyy too early to put him in an elite category. ....

he's a rookie WR - it is extremely rare to see consistency

Not sure why people are thinking he was overlooked in the draft, i recall reading plenty of pundits that said he's the best all around WR, but didn't flash any elite level metrics.

The knocks against him were:
1) landing spot/available targets - Corey Davis was a training camp superstar and talked up a bunch. Titans brought in Humphries to man the slot, and they were (and are) a run-first offense. Very reasonable cause to be concerned for targets.
2) QB play - Mariota never took that next step. Even in Nashville, people weren't expecting Tannehill to take over as soon as he did, or play as well as he has - it's been a great revelation

Now if you want to say overlooked for fantasy purposes, that's a different story.

Bottom line for me, as I've been to most home games and watch a lot of Titans:
-he's like an angry RB once he gets the ball in his hands, incredibly ellusive/hard to tackle for his size
-he's an above avg route runner, which is always huge for translating college success to pro success imo
-he looks to have already supplanted Davis in the titans game plans. Davis is still the big splash guy who gets deep looks, but neither will ever be consistent in a run-first offense.
-will be a great boom/bust WR3 type for fantasy until he both sees a larger target share, and improves vs press coverage like Stomp mentioned above

I agree. Maybe a bad choice of wording there. There is a lot of play on and off the field he will have to do to become an elite. What is his contract like in Tenn?

His production isn't sustainable. Neither is Tannehill's for that matter.

It has been entirely dependent upon him catching a 50-60+ yard TD in every game. He's not going to keep doing this with 5 receptions per game. Which is what he is averaging over this little 4 game run. He's also averaging almost 22 yards per catch. This just isn't stuff that you can do over the course of a season.

Like he has done in half of his games this season. There's a big stinker coming soon. Hope it doesn't crush your season.

Talented young WR? Absolutely. But I wouldn't get carried away just yet.

I added Anthony Miller over him. No regrets. Give me the guy who sees double digit targets consistently.
