Rumor is that he could be activated before the end of the season. He should get most of the touches as nobody stepped up while he has been out. I have an extra spot with Penny done for the year. Is he better than maybe Laird or Ronald Jones?

PPR.

I guess... id assume he will be the lions #1 again... those others are not really...

But the real question is would you start kerryon over your starters??? and even if any of your starters go down, would a handcuff be better??

I think the Lions would be outta their gd minds to activate him this year. But, hey, they are the Lions, of they can find a way that assures their continued mediocrity, they'll probably try it.

Why not? Like you said you're not losing anything so if there is nothing else out there go for it

I like him but they would be stupid to risk him again this year. My bigget concern with him is whether they like him enough.

I have Fournette (and his cuff), Conner (cut his cuffs that I have been juggling all season), DFree (his cuff was horrible when given a chance), and Marlon Mack and the aforementioned Penny, who is getting cut for someone.

I guess, Detroit is no worse of a situation than Jacksonville, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis...

But I would of course be starting those 4 over a healthy Kerryon anyway at this point...

worth the add, but doubt you would ever start him...

why would it be stupid to play him?? I would bet that he hasn't earned his spot to be the 2020 starter... and I would also say the lions are one of the teams that probably WILL be drafting a RB early next year...

That is where it comes down to their feelings of him. If they like him dont risk it if they dont by all means give him a trial run.

He gets hurt again, move on.

I actually want him to play. To see if he gets hurt. To know if they need to draft another RB.

I'd pick him up, if I could. Denver and Green Bay are decent matchups to use him.

no matter what, the lions shouldn't play him unless he is fully healthy... if he is 100% healthy then whats the harm in starting him?? if they fear him getting hurt so much, then he is not their guy anyway IMO... Doesn't he kind of have to show SOME durability??

He has things to prove...

I'd rather just grab Prosise in case something happens to Carson if you can't get DeAndre Washington anymore.

i think the last thing I saw on Jacobs was that it is prob a multi-week injury

YES!
As a RJ2 owner i can tell you the Tampa RB situation has killed me. One week its Jones and the next week its Barber.
Ugh. :frusty:
Pick up Kerryon.

i would tend to agree with Monkey..another handcuff type, or lesser end if a committee is likely to be more useful if needed then praying that the Lions make that mistake

Valid point. If he's gonna be consistently injured, the sooner they come to terms with it the better.

Raiders just signed Rod Smith, makes me believe Jacobs will indeed miss at least 1 more game, if not the rest of the reg season - I'd make Washington the priority, or even Richard if you feel like the Raiders will be playing from behind

The play the hapless Jags next week - Washington should get fed
Then Chargers - this could be more game scripted for Richard, but Chargers haven't been as good as they were last week this whole season

Yep.

In no way do I want him replaced with another high pick. But if it's time to move on to another guy that can be counted on, figuring it out sooner is my preference.

I just put in a claim for Washington and put him higher on the list. Still have Kerryon as a backup plan. I may need to use someone this week, as you can see in my WDIS thread.
