That was 2017, and this is today - Just three weeks away from 2020.

I don't care about Paul George. Hell, I don't even care about Anthony Davis.

I've moved on, Pacers fans have moved on, the Pacers organization has moved on, the state of Indiana has moved on, and Paul George himself has moved on. Everyone involved has accepted the fact that he left on bad terms and that there isn't any going back on those said terms.

Literally the only people that still care are the folks on this board trying to coax a response out of me by using Paul's name.

The reality is that there is only one problem child that's responsible for making it "acceptable" to alienate an entire organization and fan base, and this individual set that precedent in 2010.

Just stop it.

Players have the right to change teams when they reach free agency.

This is not a problem. It is how the NBA is structured.

Sorry that you don’t like it and that it stacks the deck against your team, but it is what it is.

I would love to know who called Lebron "washed". This guy been running with that false narrative since the summer on social media and i never saw a single person say he was washed up.

Seems unfair to blame Jeanie for Magic Johnsons sudden resignation, and the proof of the front office being wrongly judged is in the Lakers standings

Having Lebron and AD is a large reason for that. AD basically forced a trade to the Lakers and LA landed Lebron in free agency because of where he's at in his career. Let's not act like the Lakers front office should be absolved of all of their wrong doings.

The worst thing that could've happened to the rest of the league was the Lakers not making the playoffs last year. Lebron for the last decade prior to last season had always played up until mid-June. Now you give him 2 extra months of rest. Fuck.

If people didn't respond to this crap we wouldn't have any trolls on the Internet.

To be fair, it's not like we're curing cancer here.

This in season punishment of James Johnson and Dion Waiters is by far the dumbest thing I've seen the Heat do. So freaking ridiculous

I disagree.

The Heat are 16-6 and have great chemistry.

Could be that playing playing those 2 would piss off the locker room and ruin the chemistry.

Don’t know about JJ, but Waiters seems like the kind of guy who absolutely will rock the boat when he doesn’t get his way. And if other, lesser players are outworking those 2, then it best serves the team to keep them on ice.

Ibaka and Lowry just returned for Toronto, and it appears their chemistry is a little mixed up while they get acclimated.

Is Miami better off going with what works now and gradually phasing those players in for the playoffs?

Nurse and Spolestra are both quality coaches, so I think they have to be given the benefit of the doubt.
Nurse is playing them right away, because he knows he will need them come playoff time.
Spolestra is riding the hot hands, but knows that JJ and Waiters might just be reliable playoff pieces, but he has plenty of time to work them in.
It's possible that both coaches are right and if they had flipped decisions, could still both be right.

I understand completely. I wasn't calling for anyone to be banned. But I disagree with the notion that shitposting is better than no posting.

When people like bucky come in and just litter the place with shitposts people like LAD decide this place isn't worth it and leave.

I agree.

When folks start bloviating, a pic of Paul Mokeski always seems to calm things down.
No idea why...... :dhd:

Problem is he has another year left on his contract. Another reason why we should probably play him. Sitting his ass on the bench doesn't help anyone. Give Waiters a little 2 month run increase the possibility of trading him in the deadline or summer.
Agree....maybe, though, time did vindicate on those 2?

All this talk in preseason about the East being bad and etc, this Heat playoffs looking to be fun as most didn't expect Miami and Toronto to be this good.

The only "weak" team looks like whoever the final team will be. Otherwise, we will have the following 7 teams in it:

Boston
Milwaukee
Philly
Miami
Toronto
Indy (with Oladipo)
Brooklyn
If I counted correctly, I believe the East is 59-57 vs. West so far.

Maybe, but as was also pointed out, without the alleged trolls (yes, some are for sure), this page is a graveyard. If you answered I never saw it, but I also mentioned the Cavs/Philly game and you didn't talk about it.

I guess not much to say though.

All things being equal, the SEGABABAs and East/West coast trips most likely all even out, but I would be curious to know if load management/injuries have impacted these games in any way.

LeBron had 32 points and 13 assists on 60% from the field and was the second best Laker on the court tonight, so yeah this is fun :D

Enjoy it while it lasts. The best big man in the game and a soon to be 35 year old that are both in the MVP talk

I do recall some thinking it was nuts to have him top 1 (even top 3) when we listed who we thought best players were.

Washed up? Not sure who said that.
