Couple of things.............Appalachian State is not included in the stats I posted and I'm not making any claims about who is better than any team that will get a bid. Just pointing out that three teams have very similar stats in the categories listed but only one is even considered for the playoffs because the value of results is determined by identity and perception rather than simple facts.

Great Memphis and Boise State aren't getting in.

They had great seasons. Hope they beat a P5 team in their bowl game if they play one.

Sun Belt has the best Bowl winning pct over the last 3 years. They are nobody to monkey around with.
They are just horribly top heavy.

We wouldn’t make the playoffs if we went undefeated.
I really have no complaints.

We lost to the Mormons with a back up QB and our OC calling the same fucking play every 1st and 2nd down. We would get embarrassed if we played in a NY6 bowl.

It would depend on the opponent in my opinion. When Boise calls a creative game and starts any QB other than Cord, we are a pretty damn good football team.
