Agreed, it would be a big dissapointment if we had no shot at the West.

I would only enjoy it if the Niners were already assured of at least a wild card game. Otherwise it would be too stressful to enjoy.

It does seem odd i'm "arguing" 49ers vs Seahawks" with a supposed 49er fan, but i'm fine with it.

I'm only positive on things that I can control. I have no control over what the 49ers do. I too hope they prove me wrong.

haaaaa, the Rams are 3 games back - 4 if you count we beat them - but you're so negative, you post they'll overtake the 49ers?! Now THAT is really negative. So "Geezus" refers to you even thinking this negatively, not if the Rams can or cannot.

I didn't check if they can in fact overtake (tie breakers), but the effort to be "running scared" is amazing.

I'd be really surprised if the 49ers didn't make the playoffs. For what it's worth, 538's projections give the Niners a 98% chance of a playoff birth.

Same. I also really do hope that the week 17 game between the Hawks and 49ers will determine the division. Even if the Seahawks lose it would be a great addition to our rivalry.

As shitty as Dallas looks now I'll be much more comfortable having the Eagles as our opponent in the wild card game. Go Eagles.
