That article is painful to read. Is Zaitsev himself accused of these things or his father?

At any rate I could see him being Voynoved in short order.

All the stories are on Russian news sources and that, believe it or not, is the clearest translation I have found.

Supposedly, he "attacked" his ex because he didn't want to pay alimony and took the kids. It is claimed there is video, but I have not seen it yet.

I've seen the video. I can't really tell whether it actually is Zaitsev or not but people seem to be accepting that it is.

It's nowhere near as violent as that article suggests. It is a pretty bad look. Running away with kids while someone holds back their mother.

All sorts of allegations now that she was abusive, the kids were in danger because of mob debts, etc... Russia gonna Russian I guess.

^ If the Coyotes ended up with Hall and Kessel on wings, whoever that Center is better be unbelievable defensively.

i placed several stanley cup futures bets at my local indian casino today:

$20 on the capitals at 12/1 odds - my favorite team obviously, so this is a bit of a homer bet, but given the way the Caps are playing so far this year, i can't understand why they're not in the 6/1 to 8/1 range

$10 on the islanders at 20/1 odds - these odds are just baffling to me. one of only four teams in the nhl to have 40 points already, with two or three fewer games played than the others, and i could get 20/1 odds on them?

$10 on the oilers at 25/1 odds - i think there's some value here, but not as much as some of the others. But dominant players take over in the playoffs, and the oilers have probably the two best players in the league this year.

$10 on the flyers at 40/1 odds - the flyers have been playing among the best in the NHL the past several weeks. Probably won't continue. But 40 to 1 odds? i had to take a flyer on that. Pun indended.

$10 on the avalanche at 25/1 odds - they've been struggling with injury problems, and are still playing solid hockey. if they're healthy come playoff time, this will be a very solid bet.

$10 on the penguins at 30/1 odds - I still can't believe i placed this one. I HATE the penguins. but 30/1 odds? for a team that is playing well without their captain and best player, but will have him back well before the playoffs? for a team that has a history of playing their best come playoff time? i'd have been stupid not to put some money at 30/1 for them.

Bruins finally lost a game at home in regulation, but it was a costly win for the Avs as both Grubauer and Makar left the game with injuries.
