Okay. He has a shot at a 10-win season with the 100th scoring offense in the country.
What original is there to say? I like Ferentz. He is old-school and doesn't change, but he does produce good-great teams.
Only had 3 teams that went < 6 wins (1st 2 seasons and 2012). Few years later, when Iowa could afford it, he was on the hot seat and went 12-0.
But he never got an extension on a year he had less than 9 wins. Scott Frost just got one without having a winning season at Nebraska.

Doesn't lose enough to get fired, doesn't win enough to be a playoff threat; but on any given year he is either the second, third, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th best coach in the Big 10.
