ok.. we'll wait until Braun outright loses a game for us.
He lost plenty of games outright for us earlier in the season. Now that he is playing only 15-17 minutes a game against 3rd and 4th liners i dont expect him to lose games outright against the lower level comp he plays against now.

Born in Phoenix, this stud has 6 points in his last 4 games against Arizona. Besides that, idk if they have anyone who can really handle him or Hayes down the middle. Too much size, strength, speed and skill.

Couturier ftw.

Seven defensemen tonight as Vorobyev sits out tonight's game.

No shame in this loss. Kuemper was on fire, every now and then you have to tip your hat to your opponent.

Yep, agreed. Flyers played well enough to win that one. Kuemper was a best and they flubbed a couple other opportunities. Regroup and smash the Sens tomorrow.

Agree 100%.That game could've gone either way so no biggie. That's a good young team. As far as defenseman i thought ours were the faster of the two groups.

You are the only one i know who could probably find this answer. Last night Gee had 2 penalties in the first period. I dont remember that ever happening before. Has Gee ever gotten 2 penalties in period 1 in his whole career?

I would like to point out the Matt Niskanen is a warrior. A few games ago gets blasted in the face and comes back wearing a cage and doesn't miss a beat. I appreciate players like that.

And you guys thought we relied on our goalie(s) too much!?! Lol

The Yotes score on their 3rd shot to take an early lead and only get 15 more in 57 and a half minutes of play.

We nearly doubled them up in scoring chances, but couldn't bury that puck in the net. I think Couturier and Hayes were just a touch off, both nearly having monster games, as expected. I wish Coots would fire the puck more sometimes. He is very unselfish, occasionally to a fault.

Annoyed with the officiating after this one. We went from a game where they were letting everything go to suddenly calling everything, yet Arizona seems to get away with would-be penalties in their own zone, for sure. With all of our offensive pressure and zone time, I'm a bit perplexed as to how they drew more penalties than us (4-3). The late dive by OEL may have saved the game from going to OT.

Either way, I love the compete level of our team here. They stole one from us in Philly, but make this a 7 game series and we would wreck them.
