It was a pretty soft schedule. Out of the 21 games we've played, like 8 opponents have a record over .500 and 3 of those teams are the last 3 games.

Yup. They did what good teams should do with a weak schedule but no need for some on here to act like the schedule wasn't soft. But just because facts are being stated about the weak schedule last month doesnt all of sudden mean i expect the lakers to lose against every decent team they play

hey, for my part in it i'm just glad they're doing better than most folks thought they would. hell, it ain't like you can only play the teams that are put in front of you or anything...

'sides, after all the crap the Lakers fans have been put through around here i'm sure you'll forgive us for getting some fun AND a little payback...

least you SHOULD be ok with it. Heat fans were taking crap too...

if our heads get inflated you'll know soon enough...:D

Pretty bad missed call. Clearly the back ref turned his head away from the ball handler right as the carry occurred.

Lebron calling it the worst missed call he has ever seen is a bit dramatic.

Reality is Lakers can win 65 games but if it doesn't end with a title then the season was a failure. Same goes for Milwaukee, Philly, Clippers, & Rockets

Clippers are still the team built best for the playoffs imo. I honestly think they are the only TRUE threat to the Lakers in the West. Lakers gotta add one or two more pieces at the deadline bc even though they are damn good, I think they need to add another guy that can create his own shot off the bench or something

Actually, it wasn't an easy schedule. It was what I said it was all month. It was an average schedule.

It wasn't like they were getting fat on teams like the Cavs and Knicks...

but they weren't exactly playing a bunch of contenders either.

It was a middle of the road schedule and while they have a better record than most thought they would at this point, they basically did what they were supposed to with it.

Yeah right now they having the 16th hardest schedule so before those two back-to-backs I imagine it was around 20th...about average to below average. Still 19-3 is ridiculous even against a weak schedule. MIL is 19th so they've had an even easier schedule than LA

Yeah, I think i saw something that the Sixers/Warriors game was flexed out, but one of the Sixers other games would be on ESPN that previously wasn't. So, I'm guessing between TNT/ESPN flexing out Golden State, the other team doesn't get impacted by this.

Lmao a weak schedule is a part of the reason they went 16-2 or whatever it was in addition to being a damn good team.

It wasn't a "weak schedule". It was a middle of the road schedule. As I said, they weren't playing a bunch of contenders, but they weren't just running through the dregs of the league either.

You and other Heat fans post "pro-Heat" tweets on a regular basis, so do Sixers fans, Celtics fans, etc. but let a Lakers fan do it and it's "this is why most people hate Lakers fans".

Based on strength of schedule...it was 16th.

In the 30 team league, that's pretty much the middle of the road.

So pretty much exactly what I've been saying.

If someone told me that the Lakers would be 19-3 at this point in the season, I would have asked them to share what they were smoking. lol

As of right now, both teams healthy and as currently constructed...the Clippers have to be considered the favorite between the 2, imo.

The Lakers have the edge with the starting 5. But the Clippers are significantly deeper.

I don't think the Lakers can add enough between now and the end of the season, to overtake the Clippers as the favorite. But they can add enough that it wouldn't be much of an upset if they did beat them.

Especially if some of the role players continue to step up like they have been so far.

I see UTAH winning the West... Reason is simple... They are the only ones that have enough cap space to add strength in their roster. They can be much better during the postseason... Lakers/Clippers practically can't move... none to trade and no cap space to sign a buyout.

That's because he was talking about Clippers fans, and we know there aren't any of those, just Lakers haters in disguise...:suds:
