Why would Georgia leapfrog LSU in the rankings? They lost to an unranked South Carolina team that isn't bowl eligible. Even if LSU loses, I'd still put them ahead of Georgia. LSU would have 3 wins over top 15 teams with a loss to a top 4 team in the country. Georgia would have 4 top 15 wins but a really bad loss to a really bad team. Try not to be such a prick for once.

Don't be an imbecile. UGA would have the H2H and the conference championship.

Don't be such a prick all the time. So if Virginia beats Clemson, Virginia should get in over Clemson. They have the H2H and the conference championship.

Like the Jan. 2011 Citrus Bowl win over Sparty 49-7! I am happy Alabama fell out of NY6 Contention and hope they land in the Citrus vs. Minnesota, Michigan or Iowa.
Technically neither Minnesota or Michigan is eligible for the Citrus as theyve both been there in the last 6 years ( same with Penn St ). It will be interesting to see how far Wisky drops if they lose to OSU. If they fall behind PSU you could see Wisky in the Citrus and PSU in the Rose but otherwise my guess is Iowa ends up in the Citrus

Would their record be the same? UGA would have the same record as LSU, plus the other two criteria.

Another interesting scenario will be if Utah ends up in the playoff its possible ( if unlikely ) that the Rose could then take USC over Oregon . Rose does not HAVE to select the next highest ranked P12 team. They have discretion if 2 teams are within a few spots of each other ( completely possible if Oregon loses)

I can't recall the last time the Rose had the option to take the highest rated PAC team and declined.

True. Its unlikely but not impossible. In 16 USC got chosen over Colorado despite Colorado winning the South and being ranked higher pre CCG. My guess is it will be Oregon even if Utah makes the playoff but the other available team being USC gives me pause in guaranteeing it

Who was ranked higher after the CCG?

Boise is out regardless my guy. We could beat Hawai’i by 50 and not only would it not matter, it won’t be even close. The committee has already spoken. They dropped Cincinnati one fucking spot for their double digit loss to Memphis and placed them directly behind Boise at 20. That’s what we get for calling an absolute crap game with a crap back up QB and losing to a 7-5 BYU squad. What a waste of a good season. It’s on to the Las Vegas Bowl to face a 6-6 Washington State team. All eyes will be on that one for sure.
You really see a 2 loss Cincinnati jumping a 1 loss BSU? I'm braced for the worst, but this would shock me.

But in 2016, USC also beat Colorado, which I'm sure was also a pretty big factor in their decision to take them.

On the other hand, Oregon clubbed the hell out of USC this year, and still has fewer losses despite playing the extra game. USC and Colorado both had 3 losses in 2016.

If Georgia beats LSU in a few days, that means LSU is the better of the two teams?

I think USC? Not sure. Points the same though. Rose does not HAVE to take Oregon even though they likely still would

How is the point the same? The Rose Bowl took the highest ranked team.

Because my point wasnt whether they had utilized the ability recently, only that they could if they choose to. Honestly the P12 has only had a playoff team twice so its not like theres been a lot of chances to see what theyll do

If you have the ability to do something, but you've never exercised it...how likely is it that they will exercise it this year? The Rose Bowl hasn't shied away from taking small market teams.
