Georgia is good. Really good.
LSU is good. Really good.

I think I've tipped on the obvious now. :D

Both are really good in different fashions though, which makes this game great from a 'handicapping' standpoint.

LSU: You have to love the development of Joe Burrow. He was shit before this year, but the Joe Brady move has moved mountains. I'm a sideline LSU fan, but the records broken by this offense are likely just standards for years to come. Major credit to Coach O to seek out the best, and then put them in charge. Nobody can underestimate a Chief like that, letting a newbie roll with his current OC like that.

Defensively? This isn't the bestest or most athletic bunch LSU has fielded in a while. They aren't actually great in the Front 7, which has always been their strong point for the last decade or more.

Back end is decent enough, but they'll be 1-on-1 on tough situations.

Georgia:
I think Fromm is as overrated as any QB in college football (UGA fans probably agree). With that said, he is a 3 year starter, and won't make mistakes in a game like this. He does have some moxy about him, and Georgia grinds out games like no other.

I think Georgia is maybe a bit underrated in here. Sure, they grind games out, but teams like that, with experienced QBs find ways to make overanxious teams make mistakes and beat them with big plays on the back end when things really matter.

I like UGA in the upset:

Georgia: 31
LSU: 23

Hope UGA gets it done but I don’t think that offense will keep up. I think their defense holds on as long as they can but eventually the dam will break(Similar to Alabama/Clemson part 2)

LSU 41
UGA 20

I don't got a dog in this race, but I think LSU wins in a close one. UGA has a tough team, probably the best they have fielded in over a decade. Regardless, gonna be a good one.

Fromm isn't a bad QB. The thing is he is still the same QB he was as a true freshman, which is still a pretty good QB, but now he doesn't have Mecole Hardman, Riley Ridley, Terry Godwin and Javon Wims to throw to. Lawrence Cager was a huge part of the offense. Fromm completed over 70% of his passes with Cager on the field, it's below 50% with Cager not on the field.

But Dominick Blaylock has really impressed me the last few games. He's a true freshman, and he started the season off shakey, but he's came into his own both as a receiving threat and as a return man, but Fromm still needs that tall receiver with good hands for first down throws on the sidelines, and I'm thinking now that Tommy Bush is finally healthy, he might get a shot to be that guy.

With that said, if we're gonna win, and I think we have a good shot, Fromm won't be the reason. We need him to make good throws and not turn the ball over, but our best path to victory is using the big o-line and ground game to keep chains moving and keep the defense rested. You can't stop an offense like LSU's, but I think our defense is very capable of slowing them down enough for us to score more points than they do.

Herrian, Cook and Zamir are more than capable.

I'ma go back to a discussion I had at an airport bar in Atlanta, GA in September.

Dude with full on Georgia hat and sweatshirt.

He had no belief in Georgia winning the SEC.

When I left for my flight, I had him convinced they would win the SEC.

I'm just some punk ass white dude from the middle of nowhere, and had a great conversation with a very awesome black man in an airport. He bought me a beer.

Race don't mean nothing. That was just two great people connecting.

I still remember the smile on that guys face. Left an impression. He was a happy man. You can see happiness. That man had it. In spades.

Close game, but LSU wins, knocking Georgia out of the playoff and opening the door for Utah, Oklahoma and Baylor.

Arguably the best Offense against the Best Defense going against each other
LSU Offense: #2 SP+ and #2 FEI
UGA Defense: #1 SP+ and #3 FEI

Shall be a good one:pop2:

Georgia has WR issues right now and if LSU can get out of the gate fast Georgia won't be able to catch up.

Normally I'm a proponent of deferring until the 2nd half but if LSU wins the toss they need to take the ball and kick them in the teeth.

Stop Georgia's run game and you have them.

I like LSU by 10.

I think LSU wins on this. This match up is much like the OU/UGA Rose Bowl.

The difference is neither Georgia's offence or defense are as good as they were in that game.

Conversely, LSU's offense is probably better than Oklahoma's was in that game and their defense is better than Oklahoma's was in that game.

LSU strikes hard and fast, UGA slows them down but, cannot keep up.

You lost everyone in the second line. UGA's defense is much better than the 2017 unit.

Did not get that vibe but, do not follow Georgia football as closely as you.

Should make things interesting then. Still think UGA will probably not be able to keep up with the scoring unless they slow things down with extended drives. As bad as LSU's defense has been in the early season they have showed up a bit lately. I think LSU just scores more.

I think the one thing everyone is overlooking is that the SEC needs UGA to win. The officials will know that and in a close game, that may be the difference maker.

The question for me is, will it be close? The best offense Georgia has faced this year was Notre Dame, and LSU is a big step up.

Ill take Georgia 28-27 though
