Cousins is what he is

A guy that can put up good numbers but can't carry a team on his back.

Our inability to rush passer or defend the pass will be our downfall

I'm reminded of Culpepper years, we'd lose 35-31 and people would blame the fact he couldn't lead another scoring drive with a minute to go and no timeouts...or a fumble in first quarter.....

You are pretty much spot on about Kirk and he will never be a guy that is truly worth 28 mil

That said, hes been pretty fucking phenomenal ever since the Bears game.

He was a little shaky against KC that resulted in missed throws/opportunities. But other than that hes been consistent while we still continue to have OL injuries/ineffectiveness and no Thielen for the last like 5 games. Overall I am very happy with what weve gotten from Kirk this year.

Our secondary will be the nail in the coffin. Never though Id say that over the last 4 years, but my god we might as well let Nos get out there and cover some people

Without question the smartest thing I have ever seen you post.

Imagine being a chit tier QB with a cannon for an arm who played with Moss in his prime. Culfumbler literally has a legacy strictly due to Randy Moss. That's how damn good Moss was.

I still can't believe how lucky we were when Green Bay decided to go full retard and pass on Favre's request to bring Moss to Green Bay for a 3rd rounder back in 2007. Would have been two guaranteed Fudge Packer title years with Favre going out on top with ease in 2008 had they done it.

The one thing I liked about Culpepper was watching linebackers bounce off him.

He was a complete beast of an athlete in his prime. It's unfortunate that he couldn't make more of it. He was literally a rich man's Jamarcus Russell.

Rhodes has to go.

We simply cannot win big games with a defense this bad.

Theres are your guys Mike, figure it out or get out.

Kirk aint the scapegoat anymore.

What is the deal with this team and their refusal to turn the playbook open with Cousins until it's almost too late every time they play a good team? Why did they wait until the 4th fuking quarter when Seattle was pulling away to unleash Cousins? The guy is doing everything he can to bring them back with Diggs, Treadwell, and an ancient Rudolph as his main targets. We'd probably have the lead right now if not for that bullchit INT where the officials pulled no-call on an obvious PI where that Seattle defender mugged Diggs to make the INT possible.

Then Dan Bailey goes full fuking Ray Finkle out there to keep it a 4 point game instead of 3. This team's dogchit luck with kickers is simply uncanny.

And then game on the line we run a 4th and 3 out route to Irv Smith.

Typical comeback tease only to be kicked in the balls

Well, there it is.

Cousins and the offense went out there and dropped 23 points on Seattle on the road, on prime time. Cousins was pretty good and wouldn't have the INT if not for total horse chit officiating not calling Seattle for that obvious defensive PI against Diggs. The defense had some moments like the pick 6 which was nice, but we didn't bring Cousins in to win us games against top teams on the road while the D is chitting themselves giving up 34+ points.

He was brought in to not fuk it up in those situations, not carry the team like Peyton Manning or something regardless of how bad the D plays. Blaming Cousins is tired and old. If the defense keeps chitting themselves this badly with a defensive obsessed head coach, then we've got serious issues that go way beyond the QB position.

I've been saying it for years now - Zimmer is overrated as hell as a coach. People will defend him by reminding us how bad things were under the likes of Frazier, Chilly and Tice, but is comparing him to 3 extremely forgettable coaches really saying anything positive? That's like comparing one pile of chit to a few other piles of chit and saying it's slightly less stinky than the others. At the end of the day, they're all chit.

I mean, I like Zimmer as a person. Always seemed like a good dude who genuinely cares about his team and their success. That said, he has never adapted to coaching an offense, and it seems like he's losing touch with how to run a modern defense as well. I'd take him as a DC in a heart beat, but a great head coach he is not. He's extremely average in the HC role, always has been and always will be. 6 seasons into his tenure here, and I'm very comfortable with coming to that conclusion now. He gets nut hugged a lot but let's not forget this is the same dude whose team was so unprepared and unfocused for that NFC title game in Philly that they went there and got obliterated on the 2nd biggest stage like some 2-14 team despite being a 13-3 team.

The team showed some heart last night, they're trying. They're just not that good, especially on D. WE can stop one or the other but not both and last night Seattle ran it down their throats.
