, a city with no prior NFL team and getting a new stadium. Of course, we are talking about the Raiders, so I have no doubt that they will still manage to FUBAR it.

Where did I say that there are no other teams in Vegas?

My vote goes to the Rams. Time will tell how things work out for the Raiders, but my initial impression is being in Vegas will kill their home field advantage because road fans will travel there for games much more than they would in Oakland. The Chargers clearly lost.
LA has a poor fan base. If it wasn't for visiting fans that stadium would be half empty.

I would say you should refrain from speaking about things about which you are ignorant, but then you’d have to stop commenting altogether.

Raiders, easily, IMO. I feel bad for Oakland fans, but Las Vegas is perfect for the Raiders. Fits their outlaw image. The LA Raiders fans don't have to go far to get to Vegas. Oakland fans can get there quickly by plane. A lot of people like going to Vegas anyway, and watching an NFL game could be on their to do list, especially if their team is playing the Raiders.

Last year's home game against the Packers had more Packers fans than Rams fans in attendance.

I'm sure Vegas will show the Raiders more support than LA does the Rams.

Rams are moving into a palace next season, the best stadium in football. It will be the premiere go to spot for the West Coast. It also nice to see the Rams owner Kroenke footing the bill. It's seems just a matter of time before the Chargers go elsewhere. Kroenke will be making a lot more money than bowlcut Davis.

Settle down, it's in Inglewood...

I can't believe I am having to explain this, but here goes. In California, the Raiders have to split fans between 3 other teams. When they move to Vegas, they won't have that issue.

Thanks for that.
There's also
4 NBA teams
3 NHL teams
4 MLB teams

It's not about a competition for fans
It's much more about the competition for fan dollers

I guess I didn't make it clear about how it appears right now and short term future. From a business perspective, it appears to me the Raiders by a landslide, and my guess is you're probably right about a home field advantage with fanatical fans, but they'll sell a butt load of tickets to visiting teams, and the casinos will buy them to give as comps also...heck the casinos are probably going to be the biggest customers for the luxury boxes to. I see it as a huge win for the Raiders and Vegas. LA is a fickle place when it comes to sports....so if the Rams and Chargers aren't in the hunt after the initial year or 2, you can expect lots of fans dressed up as seats.

This is the one part I've always thought the Raiders will lose. I think they will gain financially but lose the home field advantage. They currently have a great home field advantage in Oakland. In addition to road fans traveling there I think the casinos will scoop up a good chunk of Raider tickets and pass them out to their guests as a perk. I expect many of those seats will be filled with people going to enjoy a game but not necessarily rooting for any one team.

It tends to be a pretty cheap airline ticket to Vegas, so I see lots of visiting fans in the seats, but that pays the bills as opposed to the shit deal they had in Oakland. From a business standpoint, making money off the fans in the seats is better than splitting it with Alemeda county.

While I do agree to an extent, that is an awfully finnicky area for sports fans.

I don't how the Raiders win in a landslide, Kroenke owns the team, land, and the stadium. All the big events will take place in the LA stadium; Olympics, NCAA Championship game, Wrestlemania, Super Bowl, etc. Not to mention already sold 500+ million in PSLs, 400 million from Sofi for naming rights, another 90+ million for naming rights plaza of the stadium. Bowlcut Davis isn't getting that kind of jack.
