owns DE Myles Garrett's indefinite suspension has been upheld on appeal.
Although the ban is technically indefinite, Garrett can apply for reinstatement at season's end. It is not to see it being granted before next Week 1. The news comes less than two hours after it was revealed Garrett alleged in his appeal hearing that Steelers QB Mason Rudolph had used a racial slur before last Thursday's melee. It is unclear what might come next in that stage of the saga. One month shy of his 24th birthday, Garrett remains under Browns control through 2021. Whereas extension talks probably would have taken place next summer, they now figure to be delayed until 2021.

I can see it ending in actual court because to just not make a decision is totally unprecedented

My thought is he knew full well he fucked up and that the entire world would think that either way. Say it within the confines of an appeal assuming actual professionalism would take hold and be gagged.

CNN news reporter Kathy Jenkins, has a further comment on the situation. Kathy?

Thanks Tim, during the altercation between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph on November 14th, Garrett pulled off Rudolph's helmet and swung it at his head, resulting in an indefinite suspension. When asked why he did it, Garrett commented that Rudolph made a racial slur. While Rudolph's agent, attorney, and himself denied these allegations, we asked other players if they heard anything. Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi commented that Rudolph did in fact make a racial comment while pulling Myles to the ground. When asked what the comment was, Ogunjobi said, "He (Mason) told Garrett, Imma jam a watermelon up your ass!" Rudolph has refused to comment further on the issue.

Thanks Kathy. And this just goes to show, that racism is still a problem in this Country and the NFL needs to investigate when black men are discriminated against. We're asking the NFL to further investigate this issue. And now on to the riots as a result of this in Cleveland.
