Again you mischaracterize what a betting line means. It has zero to do with what experts believe the final difference will be in actual game score. It is nothing more than where they believe the difference needs to be to get the same amount of money bet on both sides so the house always wins. Those are not the same thing.

so you are saying the experts and analyst that go by the same line saying a team is favored by X amount or a team is expected to win by X amount have it wrong?

No, I said their goal is not the same. The lines are about attracting the same amount of money on both sides of the bet. It doesn't always equate to what game experts think the final score will be. That's why sharps are always looking for value bets.
