Bing Bing BingWell, that's because you lost to a BYU team with a losing record....and played literally no one else.

OP I need some lottery numbers since you already know the rankings tonight?
Regardless of records, I think you can put K-State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Texas and TCU all in a hat and just draw them out to rank them. If they played each other 10 times it very well could be 5-5 in all the series. And Tech and West Virginia ain't that far behind them. And Baylor ain't much in front of them if any. JMO.The AP damn sure ditched them. Iowa State received the most votes of a team not in the top 25 as well after beating Texas, but I think that was their first win over a team with a winning record.
What an absolute joke, they've been blown out by every worthwhile opponent they've played.
SEC teams are constantly ranked based on who they lose to, not who they beat.
A&M hasent even been impressive against the scrubs, they barely got by Arkansas and Ole Miss
So they want to "wait and see" on Bama based on the results of a game against a 3 loss #16 Auburn team.....good lord
Better hope Oregon and Utah both make it to the PAC title game with 1 loss.....thats the only thing preventing another 2 SEC team playoff. Im convinced theyd put Tua-less Bama in over Oklahoma at this point
But scoring 3 points in a half against Mississippi State without Tua was very convincing, can't wait until they argue how impressive they look against the high school they play this week

Seems no worst than Cincinnati who only has 1 win over anyone in the top 50 and lately barely escaping #85 USF and #115 ECUSEC teams are constantly ranked based on who they lose to, not who they beat.

It's hard to join a "Big Boy" league when your stadium seats less than 40,000.
There is only one criteria. MONEY. It can come in two forms. How many more research dollars would a new member bring. How much more television revenue would a new member create for the conference...mainly via viewership demand.I have no problem with minimum criteria as long as it's well defined. The problem is there are several moving targets to "join a better conference". Many schools without P5 status have plenty big stadiums, many that do have P5 status do not meet the minimum criteria that I have heard spouted for years. This goes for stadium size, academics, research universities, population densities, student population, number of majors, location, etc. etc.
I think if you define the criteria and hold schools to it, they will figure out if they want to achieve those standards. Right now, it's just excuses to maintain the status quo.

Absolutely nothing else matters.
Western Carolina isnt just a FCS team. They are a 3-8 FCS team. Fresh off a 31-13 loss to 5-6 Samford (ironically Auburns opponent this week) NC State a 4-6 ACC team beat said team 41-0
But yes we will here how "impressive they looked without Tua"
