Sampson is one that was on both of our lists. I wouldn't think anyone wants to add someone like him right now and then have to cut an additional player. That is because he will have to go on someone else's 40 man if they trade for him. Also, a whole lot of guys like Sampson and some better than him are about to be available on waivers so it would be hard to find a team right now willing to trade for him.

FWIW, a friend of mine did the same semi-recently and she is thrilled with the results. Hope you end up in her boat!

Yeah, I usually get by with readers, but sometimes I try to get by without them or don't have them. I do need to go to the eye doctor though.

Someone suggested yesterday that the Rangers might not put Kyle Cody on the 40 man today. I think that would be a mistake.
