You've said this multiple times, now please think about the cap and dead money before you babble a bunch of nonsense. If was dump Dak or dump Zeke, Zeke goes in my opinion. Zeke is much easier to replace.

I think it’s more of a product of the O-Line consistently getting beat at the LOS more than anything else, that’s why Kellen Moore needs to try something else to get Zeke and the O-Line moving. I don’t even know the name of our fullback or if we even have one. We need to bring some physicality back in the trenches. As I was watching the last two games and the announcers kept saying the plan is to stop Zeke, I kept looking for the heavy loaded box and nothing.
Don't really care what he does, as long as it involves heavy doses of Zeke....the FFL playoffs are around the corner.I think it’s more of a product of the O-Line consistently getting beat at the LOS more than anything else, that’s why Kellen Moore needs to try something else to get Zeke and the O-Line moving. Detroit played a lot of 50 with a man over the center and both guards. Seemed to work. We need to run off tackle and sweep more in those situationsYou've said this multiple times, now please think about the cap and dead money before you babble a bunch of nonsense.
I'm not going to pretend I know what's wrong but in the past few years the Dallas OL was much better in run protection over pass protection. This year their pass protection has been great.I think it’s more of a product of the O-Line consistently getting beat at the LOS more than anything else, that’s why Kellen Moore needs to try something else to get Zeke and the O-Line moving. It's all scheme. You have a QB-centric OC who knows how to set up an offense for the QB, not the RB. It's what Kellen will have to work on this offseason if he wants to run a really high powered offense. Can't be one dimensional. Afraid someone like Belichick is going to eat our offense alive.I'm not going to pretend I know what's wrong but in the past few years the Dallas OL was much better in run protection over pass protection. This makes some sense, but I'm still at a loss on how five guys all forgot how to run block. Maybe Su'a-Filo improves the run game. It's all scheme. I just want to see our OC be adjustable & not thick headed. This makes some sense, but I'm still at a loss on how five guys all forgot how to run block. Maybe Su'a-Filo improves the run game.
I do like the fact this past week Moore & Garrett tried to get Zeke more involved in the passing game whether it be screens or underneath throws instead of just stubbornly running Zeke into a brink wall like they did against Minny, same with Pollard. I just wish they involve the TEs more in run blocking as well as the FB, just like how Zimmer used that same game plan against us, it would be very effective if we us that against other teams. The reason the 9ers are 9-1 are schemes just like that.I just want to see our OC be adjustable & not thick headed.
Right now when they stack the box we just sick Dak after the defense.
At some point they will try & stop Dak & then Cram Zeke down their throats.
When they switch we should too.
Then we cram Dak down their throats.
Too many times I see our offense try & just stick to one game plan.
We have a dual threat offense. We should be able most of the time keep the other side off balance.

I've always believed the best offense is by taking what the D gives you. If they cheat one way or the other to stop the run, you pass, if they are cheating against the pass you run. Make that D respect the full offense and play straight up.I just want to see our OC be adjustable & not thick headed.

I'm hoping we have a chance to fix the real issue this offseason, and that's the fact that the reason we had such strong run blocking was because of the OL coach. He's the interim coach in Washington so I'm hoping that when he doesn't get the full time job he quits and we can hire him back. May be too much bad blood with Jerry and Jason though. This makes some sense, but I'm still at a loss on how five guys all forgot how to run block. Maybe Su'a-Filo improves the run game.
Again. Isn't that normally the case that QBs have more passing yards against awful defenses or when behind late?I am not saying Dak is not a very good QB (said so in my first comment). But not really debatable his best games were against awful defenses with a few other nice games statistically making futile comeback attempts.
If he puts up 250 against NE I would consider it a very nice game....unless most of the yards were in a futile comeback attempt.
If was dump Dak or dump Zeke, Zeke goes in my opinion. Zeke is much easier to replace.
I just had a look at you may be correct.
I thought for sure they had changed it.
It's not like tackling a guy by the mid back jersey. They are attached to the head and might even be more dangerous than grabbing by the back of the collar as it would snap the head back as well.
NFL Sunday preview: Hair tackles could be banned next year
Yes, it is normally the case....which is why I'm not ready to pay him $40 mil or even $30 mil. Guys paid that amount are often matchup proof.Again. Isn't that normally the case that QBs have more passing yards against awful defenses or when behind late?
I won't say I expect Dak to totally shit the bed against NE (although it's possible he will the way they are playing), but I don't expect a big game from him and I wouldn't be surprised if he had zero TDs and a couple of interceptions and that will be fine because that is what most QBs seem to be doing against them.
