Fizzdale will be fired in 30 days or less
And it won't change the Knicks one bit because they don't have the talent to compete in the NBA. Any new coach will end up having the same(ish) record until they manage to get some talent.

fizzdale shows no impact on his players, or the result of a well played game!

The players control the outcome, and duhhhh I know they are not superstars! But no way should they play from behind every freeking game, no matter who they play!

Fizz dale will be canned sooner than you think

Everybody needs role players, but you need some stars to compete. Who on the Knicks is a star? Not potential future star, but a current, every game star? Yup, they don't have the talent to compete in the NBA.

I mean, looking at their roster...Julius Randle might be their best overall player right now.

I'm as big a Julius Randle fanboy as you'll find. But he's, at best, the 3rd guy on good team. If he's your best player, or even your 2nd best player...you're in trouble.

I don’t think he is even that on a good team.

IMO, his ideal role would be 25 minutes a night as a point forward instant offense type to anchor a second unit on a good team.

I'm inclined to agree which is why I said at best. A good team could definitely get away with having him as their 3rd best player.

But yeah, ideally he's more of 6th man/spot starter.

Either way, the Knicks aren't going to be a good team with him in his current role.

Again, I understand there is no superstar, knicks don’t seem to want them , portzingus, or get them in Durant.

My argument is the coach, if it’s a good one , he would know how to get through to his players. Get them To play within themselves. To have some kind of scheme. And, if your roster is challenged. Put emphasis on fundamentals. All of em r hurling up ridiculous 3’s . Playing matador D. Blown out mostly in 1 q.

I understand they led most of game vs Dallas , then missed 13 free throws in a row and let Dallas back in game. That’s inexcusable.

Sorry man, but , I get these are professionals. To me they are kids that still need discipline. ESP NBA players, their egos are like no others in pro sports. You could argue NFL could be worse.

Take the game back before it’s completely ruined.

Did the coach tell them to miss the free throws? That would be bad coaching if he did.

Relegation time. Front office/ownership is a lost cause.

It's CYA time for the Knicks front office, so of course now Fizdale's seat is very hot; the GM is trying to save his own job.

lol

The Knicks gonna Knicks.

If they fire Fizz, they'll likely play really hard for a few games and might even win a couple.

@Pastafazul will be in here saying that coaching was the problem all along.

Then, 3-4 games later, when they start being the Knicks again, he'll be in here saying that guy needs to be fired.

You don’t get it.

No matter who they replace Fizdale with, they will still suck.

The Knicks are a terrible organization.

They are making Fiz the scapegoat. He is not the problem.
