Should the Bengals sign Kap, (a man who has spit in the faces of many) and not played a down in 3 years, after benching Andy Dalton, who has donated heavily to help ill children. I would be done. I have stood by the Bengals through some crazy shit, but this would be the final straw.

If Kaep comes back after 3 or whatever time off & shows/practices well. Sure.
The Bengals owner doesnt give a shit about kneeling. So no problems there.

Only problem I can see with the Bengals hiring him (assuming he practices well) is he willing to dye his hair red?

I think if Kap truly wants to play in the NFL again, he'll be wise to drop the kneeling protest.

Supposedly there were teams interested and now 3 yrs later...he's probably willing to take a backup rol and backup pay.

CIN will be going for either Joe Burrow or Tua long term...would they consider Kap as a stop gap? Maybe.

But why Kap as a stop gap? Dalton would have been a better stop gap.

Didn't Kap already say he was done with kneeling a year or two ago?

I do find mrschaney's misdirected anger at a player merely trying to get exposure for police brutality vs his ethnic group sad though. Of the many reasons to quit being a Bengals fan, that's possibly the worst.

Dalton can't escape the pass rush like Kap can. That said, I don't know that he's a fit for the Bengals, scheme wise. He would make more sense as a backup for the Ravens, Cowboys, Texans, Bills, etc; teams that utilize a mobile QB as their starter. I can't imagine the Bills or Cowboys doing so (way too conservative minded).

I definitely thinks he wants to play again. I also think he is willing to take less money now.
Not sure on the kneeling thing since he has been paid to be the focal point of the protest, sacrifice all, crap.

Hate to break it to you, @mrschaney, but a lot of people believe Kaepernick is a perfect fit for wearing stripes/orange.

I can't in good conscious tell somebody how they should feel about the kneeling...but I've had military people, and law enforcement tell me they don't care for it, but at the same time they're not bothered by these protests...in other words, no big deal...I've adopted the same position.

A rich player kneeling during the National Anthem just doesn't impress me as much as do the sacrifices made by those who have served.

Not sure a guy that won just one of his last eleven starts can do anything to help an 0-9 team.

Unless they want him to help them secure the #1 pick in the draft.

I really think he is a decent QB.

Also, I get a kick out of the fact that a lot of our right wing nutters on here hate him but I bet probably love Muhammed Ali.

Kap was speaking out for social injustice.

Ali was a draft dodger*.

I don’t care about whatever his message is.

i think it’s hilarious that he sued the owners and is all like “ yo why do y’all hate me?”

Goodell, "Put up or shut up..... See I gave him a shot, I didn't blackball him. No team wants him".

In all honesty which teams would send coaches? Who has a bye that weekend?

:wtf:

Half blacks raised by whites are regularly brutalized by police??

The real blacks in the ghetto would like to have a word with your ignorant delusional ass...
