Could Andre Iguodala eventually head back to the Nuggets at some point this season?

That's not saying much, he'd do it for the chance at a Whopper Jr. as well.

Honestly can't remember that last time I went to Burger King by choice. Haven't done as much night-eating since I turned 30. Mostly go for cereal and/or yogurt after work these days...

With the Lakers seemingly having burned their final roster spot on Dwight Howard, Iggy's options likely have gotten somewhat thinner if Memphis were to hypothetically have a change in heart and buy him out.

Denver is one of the teams to have expressed interest, and to those who may have forgotten - He did spend one season as a member of the Nuggets (2012-13). A couple of things to note if this were to come to fruition:

1) Nuggets fans in general are sour on the way he left. Like in my (other) case with Paul George, it wasn't the fact that he left that was the cause of our bitterness towards him. It was strictly about how he left, namely his buddy-buddy antics with Steph Curry during our playoff series with Golden State that prior spring.

2) Also like Paul George, it's also been proven that he made the correct decision to leave, and for multiple reasons.

3) Unlike Paul George, the ultimate excuse-maker, I would be willing to welcome him back to my team if he so chose to, for he would provide some valuable veteran depth.

We'll just have to wait and see how his situation unfolds with Memphis.

If Memphis were to buy him out, the Lakers would open up a roster spot immediately. If it came down to it, Dwight's contract is not guaranteed. They could easily dump Dudley as well.

It will take a trade to get Iggy, simply said.

Fine, then. We'll talk to Memphis about Jae Crowder instead, who is probably of better value these days anyway.

We got the young talent to entice Memphis in a trade. You guys don't got shit in terms of young prospects and mortgaged your entire future on one guy.

Dwight Howard is a non-guaranteed contract - so the bottom line is they basically signed him with an agreement in place that they could dump his sorry ass any time they want to for a better player which if Iggy became available would send Howard the Coward packing

False

Yes and no.

Dwight is on a non-guaranteed contract. So the Lakers can get rid of him anytime they want.

However, so far, he's playing well and has had a great attitude.

So, unless there's a sudden change in either of those things (or he suffers a significant injury), I don't see the Lakers dumping him.

My "false" comment was vague. It was directed more towards Iggy replaces Howard scenario. Team still needs a big, right?

The Lakers? No. They have Dwight and Javale (who are both playing well) and AD. So, they could give up Dwight or Javale. But with how they're both playing, I don't see the Lakers moving either one.

Right now, their best chance at Iggy is hoping he lasts through the trade deadline and Memphis buys him out.

The cereal that the teenage girls eat, apparently.

No idea what kind that is. I'm curious because I'm with you on ths cereal. Pretty much my go to if I don't feel like cooking or for a snack, especially at night.
