So Cleveland's gonna lose to a QB who turns the ball over in Rudolph on short rest? They're going to lose to Miami? They're going to lose to the Bengals who they have yet to play either time? They could lose to the Cardinals, but this league runs on one thing: MOMENTUM. And if Cleveland gets it starting against Buffalo, then that whole environment is going to be different.

Tell me who is going to knock them out of the playoffs?

Chargers have five losses, and two games to go against KC, one against Minnesota, and a game in Jacksonville that could go either way. Jacksonville has gone 4-0 and 3-1 the last two years against AFC divisions. 2-2 means wins against Denver and either one against LAC or Oakland.

The Colts have three losses, and they're going to have a 4-2 or 6-0 division record (it is non-disputable), meaning if they lose to Houston they are losing to Jacksonville too. That will be five losses. They also play the Saints and Panthers. On paper they can beat Carolina, but they're not stopping CMac. That could be 7 losses.

Now here's where it gets interesting
If the Chargers, Colts, and Browns all tie at 9-7. Guess who has the best conference record? Cleveland who will go 1-3 against the NFC if they make it to 9-7. The Colts only have one win so far, but I expect them to split TB/NO because the games are back to back. They also don't even play the Browns so no head to head involved. The Chargers beat the Colts head to head, but they don't play the Browns either. They already have two wins against the NFC. Browns have the tie-breaker at 9-7.

Only Colts winning the division knocks Cleveland out. And if that's the case they better win the next five weeks and week 17.'

Cleveland should beat the Steelers (twice), Dolphins, Bengals (twice), and Cardinals. It comes down to this week and week 16 to at least get a ninth win.

Lol momemtum? Ok. Tell me about their current momentum, einstein

They still can finish 10-6 if they win this week and sweep the Ravens. But one win off is not a deal breaker. If you took statistics you will know about the margin of error.
you should just make this your signature so everyone knows what to expect from your posts...

Well you have the Chargers who are going to be close and the Colts or Texans.
Yea this was 3 weeks ago. I didnt think they would beat the Colts and that was obviously a potential season changer for them. Also figured the Browns would figure it out somewhat but they are still the Browns so thats a couple more winnable games for the Steelers

Right now, IND, BUF, OAK are all ahead of the Steelers. IDT think BUF is going to stay up there...quite a few tough games for them...9-7 would actually be a good finish imo. They don't play OAK and it's a good chance the Raiders can post 10 Ws with the games they have left.

Lot of work to do.

The whole thread is voided due to the fact that someone thinks the Browns will be 10-6 or even 9-7.

Again...
Steelers twice
Dolphins
Bengals twice
Cardinals

If they win those five--and none of those five compare to Tennessee, LAR, SF, Seattle, and NE--all they would need is 1 HOME win against Buffalo or Baltimore. If the Steelers are gonna split with Cleveland, their defense is gonna be winning it because Mason Rudolph is hot garbage.

And the Chargers lost last night, meaning they have to win everything outside KC, including one against KC.

It's not like the Broncos were playing good or anything. Most people thought Cleveland would win that.

Ok, boomer.

They came into the game with the same record and Denver was the home team.

And Denver largely thought of as an underrated team with a stellar d

Just goes to show how overrated the Browns have been this year.

Who would have thought they'd ever see the Browns be overrated.

LOL... tell me how you can justify the Browns beating the Steelers twice but the Bengals beating the Steelers for the same reason.

So again this whole thread is void because not one thing has proven the Browns capable of winning 10 or 9 games while sitting at 2 wins.
